My boys birthday is coming up and I am wanting to make either cake pops or cupcakes stuffed with fresh strawberry's. I know the cake pops I could simply roll the cake around, but not sure if it would be any good. Has anyone had any luck with this? Any tips is appreciated.

My stepson (JJ, almost 8) is a wonderful big brother to my son (Joshua, 1 year). Once I'm at work, if Josh wakes up before my husband, JJ gets him out of bed, changes his diaper & plays with him so Daddy can get more sleep (my husband works late, sometimes until 3:30am). We never asked him to do this & tell him its not a chore (meaning he doesn't have to do it), he says it's his job as a big brother. He will be leaving in a few weeks to go to his mom's in another state. We want to give him a gift for doing so good with his brother. It doesn't have to be expensive, but have sentimental value. Any ideas?

Ok. I will try and make this short. My mother always made a big deal about me choking. Until I was about 10, I was not allowed to eat certain things if I was alone (like chips), I still have vivid memories of chocking (on ice, watermelon, bacon, etc.) and at the age of 25, I can't swallow any pill bigger then birth control (even though I understand I swallow bigger chucks of food when I eat). So, you can see how my mother's behavior has scared me! I don't want the same thing to happen to Joshua. I have been trained in infant CPR and adult CPR and still freak out!

Here is what my son, who will be 9 months on the 14th (already?) eats now: stage 3 baby food, bananas (broke into 3 sections) Gerber puffs, Gerber bitter bars and baked apples. Anything other then the stage 3 worries me. I only recently started feeding him these when I am alone, otherwise my hubby had to be in the same room!

So here is 2 questions: 1) What do you feed your 8-9 month old? I have heard mashed potatoes are ok.

2) if a baby is not supposed to have cows milk until they are 1 year old, how do I make mashed without milk and they still taste good for the rest of the family? Am I over thinking the mashed thing?

I am going to one next month and was looking for some pointers. Thanks!

My son is 7.5 months old. When I swat his hand (never hard, just enough for him to know I am not playing) when he is reaching for something he shouldn't have and tell him NO in a stearn voice, he doesn't seem to get it yet. Should I keep doing it this or wait until he is a little older?

For the 1st time last night we introduced it to my son and it smelt like dog food! I couldn't stomach the smell and he was making horrible faces. Does all meat baby food smell that bad?

I work 45+ hours a week and I need some meal ideas that I can make on my days off and freeze/refrigerate so I can have easier Mon-Fri dinners. Cooking has become a chore I dread! We don't like any seafood. Thanks in advance.

I switched from Cox Cable with whom I also had internet with and now have Direct TV. Direct TV only offers Internet if you have a home phone, which I do not. What is the cheapest way to get internet without adding a home phone?

I have been married for almost 2 years and have been together for 3 and 1/2 years.

1. After a year of being together and 6 months living together, I found where he had contacted his old flame from high school via MySpace. This lead to very dirty txt messaging. When I found out, he stopped talking to her (I know because the phone bill is under my name).

2. In June, I was 8 months pregnant and found out he was dirty txt/pic messaging a girl he use to work with. I found out and he stopped. However, he told me he del the private pix she sent him, but, I later found out he simply forwarded them to his e-mail.

3. A few days ago I found out he was searching for girl #2 on MySpace (which he did not find).

Each time he says he is sorry, cries and swear he won't do it again. His excuess is "I **** up sometime. I don't to it on purpose' Every day I wonder if he is up to no good. I don't belive he has cheated (we work opposite shifts, so when he is not working he is taking care of our 7 month old).

Added details: He was married before age 19-23. Towards the end of his marraige, she rufused to have sex with him, yet he swears he never cheated. He also LOVES porn. Each day he ususally masterbates at least once and we make love as well.

Other then the issues above, everything is perfect. He completes me and is a wonderful husband and father, If you were in my shoes, what would you do?

for few weeks felt things were off between us when it came to this 1 co-worker and went snooping (I KNOW, IT WAS WRONG!) and found that he WAS talking and txting her and he knows i cant stand her. He is flirty to ppl in front of me and calls lots of ppl sexy,(i dont mind bc it is who he is) but found txt to her saying "whats up sexy?" With his denial of talking and txting her partnered with sexy txt, is he cheating or have intentions? And what would u do? Been together officially for 3 months, but he pursued me for 4 yrs

My sister bought it for my 10 wk old son. Anyone use this with their little one? What was the results?

I had a c-section and my incision is healed. I know you bleed for a while after having a baby but it has been over 5 weeks and I am still bleeding. I did stop for about 4 days, now its heavier then ever! (TMI alert) it has been 6 years since I used pads so not sure how normal this is because with tampons you don't really see anything and I know this may be different then a period, but i fill a pad within 2 hrs. I woke up last night and my PJ's were stained so bad. Also, when I sit to use the restroom, when I'm done all the water is so red. Is this normal? When will it stop? Also, when did you get your 1st period post baby?

Tomorrow I will be 36 weeks pregnant and have a few stupid questions. I have the hospital bag packed, but what should I pack in the diaper bag? Also, what are all the uses for onesies? Should my son always wear on under his clothes? And this morning my stomach doesn't feel as hard as normal. Does this mean he has dropped? As you can tell, this is my 1st baby and I want to be prepared. Thanks in advance!

I am currently 29 wks pregnant with my 1st, it's a boy, and I have a 6 year old step-son. My husaband wants to name the new baby after him....again. He wants all his son's to have the same 1st and middle name as him, Jacob William. We already have J.J. (Jacob Jr.) and he wants to name this one the same and call him either Jack or Coby. I really want to make him happy but don't want our kids to be made fun of. I have suggested Jack William or Coby William but he says it's not the same. What is worse is J.J. wants it too! What shoudl I do?

My puppy is 5 months old and has parvo. He has been in the vet hospital for 4 days now. The first 2 he was only puking once a day and no diarrhea. The last 2 days he has been puking more and has started having diarrhea. Plus, now his tail is not wagging when they go in the cage. Anyone else had a puppy that acted like this with parvo and made it?

My sister is 23 years older then me and has always thought we were more then sisters and wants to be different then my husbands sisters to our son due in July. Both my mom and my husbands mom are dead, so she wanted to be called Gram. I talked her away from that and now she is saying Nana. These are both nicknames for a Grandma, which she is not! I don't want to hurt her feelings but this is so frustrating for me! The other thing is I have a 6 year old stepson and we want him to call my sister the same thing as the new baby. Also, any ideas of what to call her husband besides uncle? Thanks!

I had what I thought was my 18 week ultrasound (I should have been 18 wks and 4 days based on my period. Even though I had been off the pill about a month that last period was on time. However, at the ultrasound, the tech said I was only around 17 weeks. This 2 week difference scares me because I got my 1st positive test around week 5 (the 2nd line was very light). That means I was really week 3 which is only 1 week after conception, right? How is that possible or is the baby just small =( If this has happened to you, how did it turn out.
