  • Is it worth it to go Lysefjord for 2 days from Bergen, or better just to visit the nearby Hardangerfjord?

    My wife and I are going to Bergen in May, and want to see some of the fjords (obviously). We will we go up to Geirangerfjorden, but wonder if it's worth it to go down to Lyseford for 2 days (I know Stavanger is about 5.5 hours by bus. Yes, I want to climb Preikestolen), or just spend more time around Bergen. If we did that, we would have only about 2.5 days in Bergen. Thanks!

  • My VCR picture quality has gone bad?

    Recently, the picture quality from my VCR has become very grainy and hard to view. The TV picture quality is the same, and this happens for all videos. I suspect that it's either the tape heads need cleaning or something is wrong with the cord connecting the VCR and TV (though there's no visible damage). Any thoughts on the likely cause?

    I know, who still uses VCRs anymore? But I have some videos I like to watch. So please don't tell me to just get a DVD player. Thanks!

  • My photos are printing too dark?

    I am using Photoshop Elements to edit and print some photos. They look great on the screen, but when I print them they come out way too dark. I am using an HP C3180, put in the photo cartridge in place of the black and white, and am printing on HP premium photo paper (though when I tell the printer I'm using premium paper, it freezes).

    Other than trying to lighten the photo by trial and error (I'm using the lighten shadows button right now), any suggestions on how to get better quality photos? Do I just give up and bring a disk to photo processing store?
