my darling daughter took a very very dark grey, almost black, eyeshadow, ground it up & mixed it with water (& possibly some kind of body lotion) to make a black paste with which to "tattoo" her father, such fun! Unfortunately she got it dripped in some considerable quantity on her CREAM wool/nylon mix bedroom carpet. Leaving aside the fact that I am an idiot for buying cream carpet in the first place can anyone recommend a cleaning product or method I can use to clean it even a little?

my daughter has decided to get rid of her collection of Felicity Wishes dolls & clothing- great! But my obsessive/compulsive urges will not allow me to dump it all in a bag for the car boot sale & I have been compelled to sort it into outfits. Since she has actually managed to hang on to many of the small accessories- even the paintbrush & the pair of spectacles, & we no longer have the magazines to refer to it is driving me nuts. Can anyone please, please take pity on me & tell me what outfits match to these magazine numbers-1,2,3,4,12,17,23,31. I have already viewed everything in ebay to sort out the rest (of the 38 outfits ). I know, I know, I should get a life.....

the plaster was completely dry before sealing with a proprietory sealant & when that ran out with pva diluted as per instructions. Put on a thin base coat of paint which has flaked/lifted up in certain areas. Where the base coat stayed ok & I added a second coat of paint there has been some further cracking in new areas. Wits end reached.

I have just picked lots from the garden, they are ripe but quite tart & there are far far too many to sprinkle over fruit salad! ( I found a recipe for wine but don't want to do that)

I need fairly detailed images as I have to make a little sugar sailor to go on a cake & I want to get all the bits in the right place! I have tried the RN website but it was not very helpfull. where are there lots of pictures of sailors! ( clean ones please)

I don't know where to start looking for impartial information. All the websites I have found want to sell me a system.

I have lots of handwash only scarves, several very old (including great grannys funeral shawl!) that smell musty due to storage problems. Any ideas of products that will help remove the smell & also stop it re-occuring
