You Are Enlightened

I will not lead you, but if i can show you how to open your eyes, you will find yourself as the leader and I as the follower.

  • Is this just for you? Or do i want an answer?

In this very moment, are you? When not in this very moment, are you not? What is this present moment? What is not this present moment? If you know then there is no need to answer, no need to avoid answering. What is thus?

  • During my meditation one day i realized something about The Way. Do you agree?

I was reading something that said everything is relative, and subject and object must both be dropped to avoid birth and death.

Of course that wasn't the entire thing i cant remember it but what i got out of it was that if you can be like your own skin, not attaching yourself to hot or cold. And not avoiding either one, but just accepting both and remaining just in the middle this is The Way.

Again this is not all of The Way but an insight i have had, so what is your opinion on this insight?

  • Who are you without all of your labels?

Can you simply exist or will you answer falsely?

  • Does God create wars and arguments? Or is it The followers?

Not so much the diety but the word God and what it means. OR is it the people who follow that decide that their belief must be respected by all beings.

  • After the realization that cannot be described in meditation?

After the realization in meditation that is a stillness of mind, I found that there was no need to focus on anything, there were no thoughts, no wanting. There was nothing but i still felt present. Perhaps more present than i feel when thinking. The state of mind is becoming addictive because there is such a peace.

My question is if anyone knows, (And i would prefer any jokes you may have to be kept to yourself if you do not really know what i mean) Are there any dangers to continuing? And is just sitting in this state enough?

The truth is i do not know what this state of mind is, i would be more inclined to call it a state beyond mind, and i am on unfamiliar ground.

When im in this state i do not fear anything of course because i do not have thoughts. So i would like to know from someone with experience if i am on The Way or not.

  • I was meditating and came to a point what is it?

I was just meditating focused on the space between breath and i came to a great peace. And breating had stopped not that i had stopped it but that it simply stopped of its own accord. Then i felt as if death was comming and i was not afraid only i stopped it due to wanting to stay with my Wife. Now i am different. I was talking with my wife last night and she began to tremble at my words. She said she couldnt take it any more and got up and left the room. I had only told her about my experience. About five ten minutes later she came back and said it went away.

  • Do you choose to not speak of your Enlightenment?

I speak of my Enlightenemnt to show that it is for the ordinary person. All beings are born Enlightened but the difference between being a Buddha and being Enlightened is a large one.

A Buddha has only awakened to his Enlightenement.

Sentinent beings are only deluded by their mind so that they are blind to their own inherent nature.

People have been sitting on a box of treasure and calling it a heap of mud. Deception is the work of devils. What more deceptive creation is on this planet than that of the human mind.

  • When there are no thoughts only the 5 senses What is this?

Recently i thought it was enlightenment, there was bliss but it was constantly fluctuating. I had no thoughts not a single one only sat in observation of sound, sight, smell, touch, and taste. I only observed there was no Me to speak of at all, but i was absoloutly present.

  • What is your opinion of this?

Fire flows through my spirit now,

right now on this day when grace has fallen from me,

I who have seen the terrible truth of reality,

the reality which has bitten me bitterly with all of my senses,

the same senses which have silently lied to me....constantly,

    considerable action must be taken,

for all that once was had, is now forsaken.

Gratefull i am for graces fall from me,

for now truth is all that I am,

being truth I am spread out through all eternity....Infinitely.

    Yesterday I became enlightened,

    today I am not,

    tomorrow has not happend yet,

    my last moment is forgot.

  • Are these two not supposed to be basically the same?

I feel more of the Natural-ness of Lau Tzu's Tao than the Enlightenment of Zen what does this mean?

  • Have you tasted the No-Mind?

When thoughts cease, when there are no views, self and other vanish, i tasted it today it was amazing. I thought it would be like a hollow feeling but it was not it was indescribable, just as the ancients said it would be inexpressible it was.

  • Why is it when i come out of meditation i feel like crap, emotionally.?

Sometimes the emotions vary, depression, anger, irritation, but they are always negative when my mind is not still anymore. I cannot stay in meditation forever though the emotions dont bother me that much id like to know why they come after meditation and not during.

  • Do you think best answers are the ones that appeal to peoples ego.?

Ive found i can avoid getting a best answer simply by seeing the ego of the person in their question and not apealing to it and when i do please thier ego i get a best answer. Basically by telling them what i think they want to hear. I thought this was pretty funny. Which is why i dont pick a best answer anymore.

  • Most of my poems are like this Is my poem worthy of being published?

This mind i was born with is completely immune,

so far gone is it that help is useless,

every thought the opposite of fruitless,

Ascention is close the time is soon.

This mind unfettered is all i have,

I've become that flower that grows anywhere,

    Soul merges with spirit everywhere,

    It was always there,

    Heartily i laugh.

This mind being that which was lost,

this mind being that which was found without foundation,

A base was built the source, creation,

It grows and creeps around like moss.

    All time passed through,

    Stopped and contemplated,

There is nothing left no point to make,

Nowhere to go, no steps to take,

self found, soul exalted, ego deflated.
