Do all atheists just think they're just a complex compound that came from a molecule?
In a nutshell, the science books say molecule to man. Do people really believe that?
"Supposing there was no intelligence behind the universe, no creative mind. In that case, nobody designed my brain for the purpose of thinking. It is merely that when the atoms inside my skull happen, for physical or chemical reasons, to arrange themselves in a certain way, this gives me, as a by-product, the sensation I call thought. But, if so, how can I trust my own thinking to be true? It's like upsetting a milk jug and hoping that the way it splashes itself will give you a map of London. But if I can't trust my own thinking, of course I can't trust the arguments leading to Atheism, and therefore have no reason to be an Atheist, or anything else. Unless I believe in God, I cannot believe in thought: so I can never use thought to disbelieve in God."
—C.S. Lewis
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality5 years agoIs there any information on what Jesus skin color might have been?
Some historians say the general idea of the lighter skin is warranted, as his parents were lighter and where he was born would give an indication where he might have been lighter in skin color. Some think it wasn't that at all though, that it was just the uniqueness he had from the people of that time and his disciples, which explains his divinity. Thoughts?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoCould ghosts just be demons imitating humans?
Whether people believe or not, there are thousands of reports of ghosts every single day in this world. Are people seeing lost loved ones (ghosts) or could they be demons? I've always wondered this because demons don't tend to give comfort do they? What good is it for them to imitate a lost loved one after a death to give a person comfort? When I lost my best friend, I swear I saw him in full body form. It only happened once, and I never saw him again. IT gave me comfort. Thoughts?

EMP could shut us all down in an instant. No electricity, communication cut, no food no water etc. Could this happen soon?

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoDoes the current world population correspond with Noah's flood and the creationists time lines?
We know reasonably, that the world population was 250,000 in the time of Christ. Would that correspond with the timing of the flood? IF we go with the evolutionary time frame, shouldn't we have like trillions of people on the planet by now? NOt trying to be funny, but atheists deny the flood ever happened, so shouldn't we have more people on this planet? Please respond with logic. Do not send me to dumbapedia and talk about spaghetti monsters. I want logic with your billions of years you fall back on.
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhy are the Jehovah Witnesses considered dangerous to many Christians? Are they heretics?
What's the biggest difference in their view compared to the general beliefs of Christianity? I know they don't believe in Hell, and that Jesus is "not God" correct? That he's a separate being from God?
