.While my car was stopped, I was hit from behind by a car traveling about 35mph. Had my seat belt on, air bag did not deploy. Police and emergency were called. In a matter of about 5 minutes my neck muscles from the bottom of my skull to my shoulders were in pain, had a headache and felt nauseous. I was put on a flat board and taken to the hospital by ambulance. Xrays showed nothing broken, but I had cervical strain of the neck muscles and soft tissue damage. Before I was released they gave me what they called a cocktail of pills. I was given Percocet, Methocarbam, Naproxsin, and Dex...(steroid inflammation). About 1/2 an hour later I got the hiccups. It is now 2 days later and I still have the hiccups. They come about every hour and last about 15 to 30 minutes, sometimes longer. They sent me home will prescriptions for Methocarbam 500MG, and OXYCOD/APAP 5-325MG, which I took for only one day. What the heck is going on?

I had a heart attack 15 months ago and had 1 stent put in. Other medication that I take daily are aspirin 81mg, Plavix 75mg, Lovastatin 40mg, Carvedilol 12.5mg 2x a day, and Amitriptylin 25mg. I am seeing my family doctor tomorrow.

Any ideas of what is going on? Could it have been that so called cocktail of pills thay gave me? Could it have been the impact from the accident? Could it be a reaction of mixing that cocktail of pills with the medication that I take daily? How long is this going to last?
