I know the whole argument that anime isn't necessarily for kids, but my nieces are 9, and I've been thinking about introducing them to anime. But I don't really know a lot of kids animes, since I got into it myself as a teenager. I figure Studio Ghibli films are a given, but I'm looking for some G-rated anime to show them. Stuff from the 90's or now is fine, any ideas that I can pre-screen are appreciated. (I figure it'll mostly be magical girl stuff, since they're girly-girls, but some shonen stuff's ok too)

My (neutered) male cat has been leaving this clear bad smelling liquid on me when I'm petting him and he accidentally brushes his rear against my clothes. I'm pretty sure it's just anal gland secretions, but this presents a problem. When this happens occasionally with one of my other cats, I can just take them to the vet, but this cat is VERY shy, he's just recently gotten to accept my petting him, so taking him to the vet won't happen until his annual checkup or a more serious problem occurs. So, is there anything I can do, such as changing his diet, to help him express his glands on his own, or do I just have to wait it out?

I'm going to be getting a 3ds in October, and as a fan of the Harvest Moon series since the N64 version, I gotta have at least one DS version. From what I've heard, Lost Valley stinks, and while I'm going to subscribe to Gamefly, I'd appreciate some suggestions.(DS/3DS specifically, I know Friends of Mineral Town (and the girl version, More Friends) for the GBA rocks)

I was lying in bed this morning, and I have this odd habit of playing with my stomach when I'm just waking up, and when I reached my belly button, I noticed along one part there was a firn protrusion along one side, and when I pinched at it and my stomach nearby, I felt this sort of mass that was painful to pinch. It's on the right side of my body, and the rest of my belly button is normal, so (admittedly I am a tad of a worrywart/hypochondriac) I am a little concerned about appendicitis. Does anyone have any ideas?

I just noticed today that there are several small spots on the inside of my elbow and right upper arm. They're about the size of a pen tip, not raised, but the color of a mostly healed cut, y'know, that dark red color? It's almost like a cat got me with its back claws, and while I do have cats, if they had gotten me like that I would have remembered. Something I think may be connected: earlier this week I was working out at the gym on a tricep machine and lifted too much weight, and it got rather sore. So is this just like a by-product of that exertion or something else?

I was playing Record of Agarest War, and just as I was about to leave a dungeon to save, the game froze. The music still played normally, but I could no longer do anything, even hit the center button to force quit. I was sad, but it happens to me every once in a while, so I just groaned and hit the consoles power button. But then later I was cruising the PSN for PS3 demos and it froze again! This is especially worrying because my PS3 also has a habit of occasionally cutting the sound when I exit the PSN, also not a big deal, I usually just turn the console off and on again and its fixed, but that has also happened more and more too. I've had this used console for a bit over two years now, is it just circling the drain and I should trade it in when I can or is this something fixable? (By someone with no mechanical skills whatsoever?)

I WAS planning to play some Persona 4 Golden tonight, so imagine my surprise when I started it up and got a bar that said it was updating the database, and imagine my HORROR when I got to the screen and ALL my save data and stuff was gone! 80 hours of Persona 4 Golden on the New Game+ cycle lost! I did buy the Vita from Gamestop used, but the Sony PS Vita 8GB was new when I bought it a little over a year ago, is there a freaking failure rate on this type of memory card or something!?

I was feeling a tad nostalgic and tried to download a game I had on my old computer, Katawa Shoujo, but the only options were Torrent and DDL. Clicking Torrent had my computer search for options to open and led me to some rather sketchy sites where I could download a 'free' Torrent thing, so I chose DDL. But when I did, I could start it by the option to start it after it installed, but there were no shortcuts on the computer like I intended, and I could only find the program under the Control Panel. So, what is DDL?

I've been cruising through my e-mail, and one of the 'new' mails in my inbox is a notification for a PSN purchase I made on the 19th of February. I got a mail when I purchased it back then, by why is another showing up just now? And another from March 2nd. Is the PSN getting hacked again?

I bought a used PS3 back in 2012, and its served me well, except once in a while if I play a game for like an hour or more the sound cuts out. I can still play the game, but there's no sound. Although when I reset the system the sound comes back. Do I need to replace the tv connection cables or something?

I know it might be a stupid question, but I can't seem to find any definite answers. The reason I ask is I'm considering getting a N64 again, so I don't wanna double buy games like Paper Mario if I ever get the Wii U. (I started gaming during the N64 era, so I don't care about the older games on there.) So, yes or no?

I'm considering getting an N64 again, but I need to know how to attach it before I buy it (I've tried to attach an N64 three different times (and three different systems, no less), so I don't want to waste my money if it won't work), I've tried using adaptor cables from Walmart, but can I just connect them to my tv directly? (It's got the three yellow, red and white slots in the side, I connect my PS2 to the tv with it) I also don't have the TV's original remote, I use a DirectTv one, will that affect my usage? (Please keep the explanation simple, I don't understand a lot of tech stuff)

I'm working on my Japanese homework for class, and we have to translate a sentence. I've figured out the characters, but I always have trouble putting it together in a proper sentence.

Its: (I'm putting the characters into one word as its on the paper) Doubutsumura iriguchi ta, dai (think I translated this character right, its the one for big, and is the first one in daigaku)kinakirikabu ga 1 tsu arimashita.

I know its about a zoo, asking if theres another entrance, but not the sentence in its entirety. Please help?

They're having a blood drive at my college, and I'd like to donate (being healthy is about the only thing I've got going for me), but I was always told that I couldn't, because I lived in England during the Mad Cow epidemic. Can I, though? Or would it be ok if I donated without telling them that?

We feed the stray cats in our neighborhood, and try to befriend them so I can place them in the no-kill shelter I volunteer at to find permanent homes. This cat we've named Sid we've been feeding since we moved here three years ago, and since he's most feral the best we've gotten with him is he'll eat while we're out there, so we have no idea his actual gender. I've noticed, since the beginning of Spring, he sometimes comes to eat with the base of right ear cut. It could be male turf wars, but why would that be his only, consistent, injury? Is it possible, because of how cats.. um, mate.... Sid is actually a Sidney and that's from his... suitors? He does have an oddly high meow for a boy cat, and he is getting rounder, but that could just be he's gaining weight from his food. So, is it likely he's a she?

I found this group I like, E Nomine, from AMVs on Youtube. And they do have their cds on Amazon. Since my primary listening device is my ipod, and the cd is not from the us, can I buy it and then download it to ITunes to listen to on my Ipod? ('Cause if I can't I won't buy the cd and listen to the songs on the AMVs)

I liked the first game, so I'm definitely getting the second one. I'm debating whether to buy a physical copy at Gamestop or download it. So does anyone know if theres a preorder bonus? Depending on what it is'll help make my decision.

Yeah yeah, I should've read the description that was buried under the generic DS information, but I came across it near the end of its listing. I bought a 3ds that was listed as new, but then I saw that the description said it needed repair. I'm trying to settle this amicably, contacting the seller and convincing him to accept a return so he gets it back to resell it and I get a refund, but if he refuses, is it in my rights to report the seller to force a refund, because he listed the condition wrong?

The no-kill shelter I volunteer at asked me to foster some VERY young kittens, barely a week old (apparently some misguided person found them and didn't wait to see if the momma was just hunting nearby). They're unused to bottle feeding, but with a little effort they're eating and I'm stimulating them to pee with a washcloth, but I'm a little worried about their mental development. They wiggle when I try to feed them, so I wrap them in clean washcloths, but this means they cant smergle (or knead) as they traditionally do. I'm sure the shelter is keeping their eyes open for a momma whos willing to nurse them naturally, but if one doesn't show up, will they grow up normally?
