How long can I run a phone extension?
I have a cabin about 1000 feet from my house. Does anyone know if I can run an extension that far without losing signal? What size and type of phone cable should I use? I'm also hoping I have enough signal for a DSL connection.

If so, what are we going to do about it? I've been a Democrat, and I've been a Republican. Both are worthless. Almost everyone in the Democrat and Republican party toes the party line in order to get support in their respective elections. In other words, you can't really vote for "the person" because most simply do what the party tells them to do. So, do millions of us band together and try to inflluence an existing 3rd party, or do we form a new one of our own? Using the Internet and all our contacts, we can reach millions. Who is with me?
