ok, well me and my dad were out on it today. drove it for about 10 minutes, idle speed, and then it started running rough. we revved it some, thinking it was just clogged a bit, but still ran rough. opened the hood and saw a milky, oily white thick substance spewing out of the carb. the engine was still running, rough, but then we cut it off after that. we didn't get it winterized, but it hasn't been in the water for about 3 months. im thinking the block is cracked, but how is water in the oil getting its way up to the carb? is it a freeze plug? cracked block? head gasket?. any help appreciated... its about 5k swap my boats engine, so i may swap it over the summer... its an 01(?) 21 foot maxum...
