Can My Friend Be Prosecuted?
My friend runs an online gaming site. However he runs a substitute for another game and has used their graphics, their codes, their trade marks and copy rights to make what is basically a clone of their game. He gets all these by using something that gets into the original copyrighters data base and copys everything.
He says Under russian law it does not violate anything in the russian fedaration. The company who hes stealing from is based in Finland.
Can he be prosecuted? Under what law?

3 AnswersBiology8 years agoAmerican Healthcare and Obamacare?
From the outside looking in, I don't know why America is confused or debating this issue. To me the answer is obvious and it's the same thing my government does. You fund the heath system not through Employer funds but through the tax system. All urgent heath needs are free while optional heath issues for example cosmetics are on the individual to pay for.
But people don't want to pay higher taxes. Good news is you wouldn't need to, Simply pull out of the middle east, That war is creating more terrorists than it's killing and just monitor the borders better so you can take some of the way over funded military budget and put some of it towards healthcare. Even Nasa a company we rely on to monitor space for asteroids is only getting a bucket of sand compared to the entire beach of money the american military gets.
So wouldn't that be the obvious answer?

2 AnswersDiet & Fitness8 years agoBeginner Astro Photographer - How did I do? (working link)?
My settings were -25, 4.0, 1600, daylight, 18mm on a 18-55 kit lens canon 650.
I uploaded my best shot to flickr
http://www.flickr.com/photos/73914454@N08/96277185...
Any tips? Focusing on the 18-55 is a really pain & It seems like I may need a wider lens to capture anything decent. I see all these amazing shots and then I look at my shot and it's like urgh.

So like my previous questions have mentioned i'm a newbie trying photography and am trying astro. A lot of people are saying go to infinity or go to infinity and back up a little but the problem is the 18-55 don't have any focus ring marks to show you where your at. (I use the canon 650d)
2 AnswersPhotography8 years agoParanormal Activity Shutter Speed Edition?
I took this photo at about 5-6am this morning and my cat moved during it. So even though it looks like I now have two cats that's not the weird bit. If you look in the middle between them.. There's a skull outline which is freaking me out a little lol I think it's just a middle image of the cat moving but it's similarity of a skull is just weird. What do you guys think?
1 AnswerParanormal Phenomena8 years agoAstrophotography Can someone explain this to me?
Hey guys. A few weeks ago I tried my first attempt at astrophotography with My 650D sitting on top of my tripod. My settings were shutter slow 30 (30 in the way of the negative so it took ages again not sure about the terminology), F/4.0 . iso 1600, White balance Tungsten, Raw. on Manual and manual focus, 18mm on the 18-55mm canon kit lens. I'm very new at photography so I'm trying to learn the ropes but the terminology confuses me. Anyway this was the result of a shot of the milky way. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=5555103311...
Notice that the stars are a blurred and blue :(
Iv'e been told I should have used the day light setting and to take account of the 500 rule. The 500 rule confuses me a lot. Iv'e been trying to understand this http://www.davidkinghamphotography.com/blog/2012/1... completely over my head though. Can someone help explain what the settings would be on a 650d 18mm with the 500 rule please :)
In live view and the viewfinder my camera doesn't seem to pick up the stars at all. it's only after I take the photo that I can see them in the camera.
Someone care to help a newbie :)
6 AnswersPhotography8 years agoSome Questions about the Universe?
Iv'e been thinking.
The universe is expanding so the space that it's expanding into has to be there before hand right? Something can't expand if there's no room to expand into. What is in this space how big is it and are there other universes in this space in which our universe could collide into?
Are there any books that explain this that have been made into audio books or any lectures on youtube in which i could learn more about these particular questions?
8 AnswersAstronomy & Space8 years agoProstate Cancer Atheist vs Religious Stats?
A lot of religious people consider masturbating to be a sin, An addiction etc which they have been "Saved" from.
Recent studies over the last decade have shown masturbating and sex not only helps with stress but prevents prostate cancer in men.
Have their been any studies in prostate cancer in which religious people who thought masturbation was a sin were compared to atheists who embrace a good fap to see which group had high percentages of the cancer?

6 AnswersPhotography8 years agoGirls: Make up on men would you care?
First off i want to state that I don't actually know if this is make up or not, It seems to be more a lightened tinted moisturiser. Anyway I'm considering wearing it because i have a lot of redness on my cheeks and it makes me insecure as hell and effects my confidence and my life a lot. I don't go out much because 99% of the time i feel like a hideous freak. Iv'e considered laser treatment for it but that's expensive. Everyone tells me it's not that bad but I feel and see otherwise. I'm not going to use a lot of the cream to cover everything i just want the redness gone. No eye shadow no lipstick nothing like that i don't want to doll myself up or nothing i just want less patchy skin. But I'm concerned how society and more importantly females will look at me. I'm straight and i already have a hard enough time with women as it is so i don't know how they would view this. I mean I don't see why the social stigma on it exists. Men prefer women without make up but we accept it because it helps you girls with confidence and helps you be less insecure i don't see why the priviledge can't be extended the same way. I mean johnny depp, russell brand, tom cruise, Robert Downey Jr. Taylor Lautner, all wear a bit of make up and women find them attractive.
So i guess my question is ladies would it put you off that a guy puts on a bit of product to hide blemishes or redness?
So girls would you care or be turned off by a
4 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoWhy do Creationists fight evolution?
It seems to me that they think evolution hurts their belief. When it doesn't.
Evolution is the process of the mutation of life on this planet. Not once does it explain where the first cell came from, not once does it try to explain the origin of life.
You could very easily say that god oversaw the process of evolution or put the conditions in place that allowed it to happen.
75 years ago the church of England said that Adam and Eve and the creation of humans in the bible was more symbolic than historical fact, The former pope, Former and current arch bishop of canterbury and the chief rabbi all agree with this.
So it seems to me that most creationists who fight evolution do so without cause, Why fight something that doesn't have any intention of fighting your beliefs. You could skip half the battle if you just accepted it said god oversaw it and moved on.
I don't understand why they make fools of themselves doing this when they don't need to.
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoShould the American Military Face International War Crimes Trials?
I'm very concerned about the war crimes being committed by the American Military in Afghanistan, Iraq and neighboring countries. From the research I've done over 17,000 innocent have been killed directly by the American military alone not counting the suicide bombers, the United kingdoms military or any other military but the american military alone in the last 12 years and quite frankly I find it disgusting to think in so many peoples eyes, this is at all justified.
Note this 17,000 are the ones the American Government admit to the real number is estimated to be Tens of thousands higher. The American military don't actually keep track of civilian death numbers. Hell they don't even do civilian death counts according to general tommy franks. They only count the American deaths which shows a complete disregard for human life.
I should also note that Terrorists can not take freedom from you, The only way freedom can be taken is if you cannot act, think or speak how you want which means the only people who can take your freedom is your own government. In my opinion thanking your military for keeping you free is absurd. Yes your military freed you from the United Kingdom and we combined to stamp out Hitler but this is an entirely different situation were freedom is not actually under threat. You could simply protect yourselves from overseas militants with better border security and agencies that work together instead of not sharing information due to stupid reasons.
Yes i was alive for 9/11 and the boston bombings. They were attacks. Yes. Did they have any impact on freedom apart from the police barriers and curfew set by your own government. No they did not. They both add to less than 3000 deaths when the American military has killed well over 17,000. Who's the real terrorist here?
I can't help but think that not only is this war crimes but also completely anti productive in the fight against terrorism. If you think about how many people, Family, friends, otherwise cared about those 17,000-100,000 people then you start to build a remarkably high picture of people who now have a big grudge against the United States. So it seems that America is creating more terrorists than it's killing. Then you add in the death toll to American servicemen and you get hundreds of thousands of death with 0 gain. It just doesn't make sense.
The American military state that they try to avoid civilian deaths, Yet started the war with air strikes near populated areas. The general approach is to use a cliche, Got to break some eggs to make an omelet but with innocent children and people as eggs.
When I saw the Wiki Leaks.org video of a U.S. helicopter in Iraq mowing down unarmed civilians, I was left thinking it was a common occurrence. And when I read about U.S. troops in Afghanistan killing two pregnant women and a teenage girl then covering it up – then smearing the journalist who reported it – I could only assume that kind of thing happens a lot.
There is also extreme racism towards people who practice islam. As an atheist I hate all religion for what it has done to the human race and the pointless wars and deaths in it's name but to be fair, Christianity has just as bad if not worse text in it's holy book than islam, Death to rape victims, Death to kids who swear, Death to non believers and believers of other religions, Death to non virgins, Death to a whole town if one person doesn't believe, death to homosexuals. The thinking that everyone who practices one religion is a terrorist is just plain idiotic.
Yes the military over there is trying to train their military, trying to re build the cities but to me this is nothing. No amount of money, no amount of roads or buildings can make up for a life especially 17,000 to 100,000 of them. America should also be putting less money into the military and more into programs that benefit the entire human race for example Nasa who get less money than the American military gets on air conditioning.
To me, 17000 to 100000 Innocent people dying at the hands of a military cannot be overlooked and the leaders of said military put on trial for war crimes. Why isn't this happening? It is something the entire human race should be concerned with, If America can do this without being held to account that sets a very dangerous platform.
Every innocent drop of blood on middle eastern soil is just as important as the blood spilled on Americas soil 12 years ago.
Makes you think on this war on terror, What side is the terrorists?
Since people ask, I live in New Zealand. A country that owes the United states absolutely nothing. Yet have sent 100 special troops to peace keep for the last 12 years, God knows why. I have nothing against the American people only those people are the ones in power of this.
7 AnswersPolitics8 years agoWhy do American's thank their Military for Freedom?
A side from the initial fight with the british it seems thanking the men and women in the middle east for freedom is a bit stupid. Terrorists can't take away your free will or the right to act or speak how you want. In reality the only people who can do that are your own government. It annoys me that the American military is getting thanked when they should really be held up for war crimes due to the 100,000 innocent civilians killed in the middle east on their hands. That's genocide. Yes you killed Osama but 1 vs 100,000 innocents. Most police wouldn't even risk 1 persons life to take a criminal down. Also when you think about how many people directly effected by those 100,000 Innocent deaths now hate america for killing their loved one, You've created more people who want to hurt you than terrorists you've actually killed. Does the general public in America know how much innocents have died or is your media that filtered?
I should state i'm neither from the middle east or america so i have nothing filtering my views on this. I do not hate america you have some really cool companies and people but i do hate the leaders of your military on a human level. Why aren't these leaders being tried for war crimes?
5 AnswersMilitary8 years agoCreationists, Please stop praying for us Atheists?
One of the prices you pay for being godless is that people will keep threatening to pray for you which is a little creepy. As you know they're not praying for you to be become happy but for you to become religious, which is often far from the same thing. They're praying for their beliefs to have an influence over your life. In other words They're not praying for you but praying against you.
Will you please stop?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoAtheists I have a question for you?
I was arguing the the old testament is still valid according to jesus due to some things he says in the new testament. A creationist responded with: The doctrines in the OT yes but the Mosaic Law has been fulfilled.
Now to me if this was mosaic law alone the awful things in the O.T wouldn't be in there because their not *holy* i'm confused
What would you respond with?

I know some animals can't detect prey items if the prey is still what animals are they? This is brought up due to it being the reason T-Rex didn't eat the kids in Jurassic park 1 and while mostly true with the T-Rex even though it would of smelled the kids were there and got them without that sense of smell the kids would of been fine. Anyway, What are the modern day animals that inspired this?
