  • Odd symptoms. Dr's don't know what it is and there isn't much more anyone can do. ?

I have the information about the patient 3rd party but I thought it would be worth a shot to ask anyway. Maybe someone out there has heard of something.

He is 31 YOA and had flu like symptoms for about 2 weeks. He called his wife at work to come home an when she got there his skin was the color of an eggplant, his body temp was 93 and when they got him to the ER all they could find was that he is septic. Now, I believe a few days later, his organs are failing, he's not conscious, and the doctors have NO idea what is wrong with him. It is a true medical mystery! If anyone has had anything like this happen or know of anything like this please let me know. this family is runing out of time. I'm sorry I don't have more information. Ive googled and Web-MDed and I cant find anything. Thanks for your help!

  • What are the best hiking shoes for people with bunions?

I have what is essentially a bunion on my right foot. I say essentially bc it's actually a calcium deposit on my foot that is in the same place as where a bunion would be. I need to have surgery and a pin inserted into my foot but that's another story...I have bad pain if I wear shoes so for the most part I'm in flip flops or sandals 90% of the time. Thank God I live in GA and we don't have much of a winter. So my question is...I'm starting to hike with my husband but I need a shoe that won't hurt my foot. Anyone have any suggestions on shoes? I have tried on those "sandal" hiking shoes and they seem to be my best option. If anyone out there has a similar problem or has found a miracle shoe..I'd love to know about it! Also....just in case someone wants to suggest the "over-the-counter" remedies...those won't work for me because I don't really have a bunion..just a calcium deposit (knot) in the same location. Thanks for your help!! :)

  • Will an Associates in Culinary Arts bring in good money?

I am looking at Culinary college and getting my associates but before I invest the time away from my family of 3 kids and husband I want to make sure it's going to be worth my time and hard work. So, if you have a degree or know first hand of someone who has a degree, let me know a ballpark figure of the income and also what line of work they do. (i.e. hotel, restraunt, catering) I am in the Atlanta area also. Thanks for you help! Oh and I've looked at pay scale.com and it's gave me an idea but I was just wanting to talk to some people who actually do this for a living. Also, what's the best line of work to go into in this field, Private chef, restraunt chef, catering, hotel chef. Any input will be useful. Thanks!

  • How can I get the Apps I purchased on iTunes onto my iPhone?

I purchased some apps and got some free apps last night on ITunes on my computer. When I synced my phone, I didn't think to check and see if the apps had been transfered also. Well, they didn't. I've got all the apps checked, I've got "Sync apps" and "Automatically sync apps" checked as well. The new apps are showing up on screen 6 of my iPhone online but when I sync they are not on my phone. HELP.

  • Is this normal behavior for an 8 year old?

My daughter is 8 and will be in the 3rd grade next year. She is insanely smart and has never made below an A since Kindergarten. However, she is CONSTANTLY in trouble at school for talking, trying to be the center of attention and most recently for "finders keepers" incidents. Even if she "finds" it on another child's desk, she thinks because the owner isn't there to claim the object, she can take it. Her father is currently a Deputy and I was also before our youngest child was born. She is the oldest of three, ages 8,3,and 3 months. Every teacher she's had has told us she has ADHD and even the principal, who we are friends with, has told us that after 27 years of experience with children she is confidant in telling us our daughter has ADHD. Our daughter has a very active Imagination, always talking to herself or talking on her fake cell phone to someone. She seems to act "silly" more so than I see other children her age acting. She can be looking you in the face when you're talking to her and she doesn't hear a WORD coming out of your mouth. She lies about EVERYTHING. If she told me it was raining, I'd have to go outside and stand in it before I believed her. And no matter what punishment she gets, it doesn't work. Positive reinforcement doesn't work either. We have been working with her for 3 years now and I'm out of options. I don't want to put her on medication but I'm starting to think maybe she needs something. It's like she doesn't think about the results of her actions before she does something but as soon as it's done, she's scared to death. She is a sweet, caring, polite, and loving child. It doesn't seem that she is disobedient just to be mean, it's like she can't help herself. Is this just normal 8 year old behavior, or does it seem she has a problem. Also, when she is trying to tell a story, it seems to take her forever to find the words she wants to use, like her brain is going so fast she can't get the words out.

  • How can I find someone by SSN search for free? I don't want to enter a card number at all.?

My husband has a Colt 1911 that was made in 1913. The serial number indicates that it was issued to the US Navy USS Texas. Under the grip there is a first and last name and a SSN. A serial number check has been ran and the gun is not stolen. I would love to find out more about the person that had this gun and maybe contact their family to see if they would be interested in having the gun.
