i have an hp nc6220 laptop with winxp pro installed but cant figure out how to get it to even detect or link to my wifi router? Can someone help?

I just reformated a neighbors HP laptop and WMP wants a DVD decoder. I have never seen this before. And it has been so long since i worked on XP. Can i just install real player or another media program?

Also. How do i connect it to my wifi so they can use it?

I have a pane on the left where all my email folders are suppose to be but they are not showing. If i click on check email nothing happens. I know my accounts are there because i can see it under account options. I tried unchecking the homepage option in preferences but it doesnt do anything. the only way i can see my email is if i do a clean reinstall every time or go to my different emails in my browser... any ideas what can be wrong?

I recorded a wav file of someone speech online in audacity and someone else had their mic open and said "oops my mic is open". how do i remove that person but keep the speaker?

If this is true then why does he not answer all prayers? I mean hes not a genie you cant get everything you ask for right? Sometimes he says no? And if you get something that you pray for is it from God? or is it something that was going to happen anyways?
