I am currently separated from my husband, we have no plans to revive the marriage and have not even started the divorce process. As of right now he has our son 3 days a week. I have come to find out he is getting high with my son there, and having drug addicts live with them. I do not want my child in this environment!!! Do I have the right to refuse visitation until a court decides otherwise? Or maybe just allow supervised visitation? I live in Illinois also.

I got married a year and a half ago, to a man who I never really loved because we had a child together. Now our son is three, my husband wont get a job just keeps begging his family to bail him out. He is 28 years old and his mom pays his cell phone bill and his car payment every month. I gave him money for diapers the other day and he came home with a bag of pot instead! And then a couple nights ago at dinner he was slinging horrible insults at me and my son started screaming the same insults at me. I dont know what to do, he is worthless and lazy. I have threatened to leave him and his response is that i will lose any case in court for custody because his family has money for a good lawyer and mine doesn't. So I stay out of fear of losing my son, even though I am in nursing school, I dont do drugs, and I am a damn good mom. I am sick of being so miserable at 23. Any advice?

This is weird, and I need a little advice. I met this guy years ago at work, and we started having a very casual fwb relationship. It slowly started to dissipate after our schedules changed and we never had time to see each other. I had not seen him for years. Then me and my sister in law were talking and I told her that he was the only ex that I missed(as nothing was wrong in our relationship, it just ended) and that I doubted I would ever see him again. But if I did I would love to start it back up. Then 3 days later I started school and I went out for a cigarette at break, and I saw him. I have seen him everyday at school since! But of course, despite all my talk, I am too scared to actually talk to him. But I feel like its not just coincidence, since this school is not in our district( there are 3 others in district) but we are both there at the same time. Should I suck it up and talk to him or what?

Hi, I need a little help here. Weird things are happening in my apartment, and I don't know how to handle it.. So, we have lived this apartment for over a year now, and about two months ago we got 2 kittens. My husband and I would be in the living room with the kittens asleep in front of us, and we would hear meowing from the dining room. Various other "Phantom Cat" things happened. Now, my 22 month old son talks to someone in his room, especially during nap time. He will take our hand and lead us to his room point at the wall, and sometimes he cowers behind us, other times he gets really excited and claps. I need some suggestions on what to do about this, as I am getting really freaked out! It doesn't always feel like the same atmosphere, so maybe there is a unfriendly and a friendly ghost?

Ok, so I bought a used car from a dealership about 2 months ago, they told me that when they got my plates they would have me come back in and they would put them on. Is this right? My husband said that he always had to go buy new ones. Anyone have experience with this in illinois?

I have a question about my apartment. My husband and I signed a lease on 9/16/2008, and landlord didn't start the lease until 10/01/2008. I found a house for rent and want to move in asap, should my landlord let us out a few weeks early and prorate the rent(since we moved in on the 16th, not the first)? I know the answer is usually no, but my 19 month old son is getting rocks thrown at him(for no reason) and I dont feel like he is very safe(this happened while I was with him). Please Help, is there anything legal for moving out due to these incidences??

My husband and I were talking about getting a kitten. We have a 18 month old son, is it a good idea? Bad? Any advice or stories?

My husband and myself have Sprint, after really looking at our 180 for one month bill(for 550 anytime minutes!?) I have noticed quite a few new charges, such as administration fee and regulatory fee. We are also being charged for two city taxes(one of which has never been removed) is this a reason to cancel without ETF, or should I just give them my moms address, and say we are moving there?(I know for a fact that she lives in a sprint dead zone)

2000 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Automatic 109000 miles

I have a 2000 Toyota Corolla purchased a few weeks ago. I tried to take it back to the dealer to have them diagnose what was going on and they told me it wasn't their problem. So any help on any one of these problems would be awesome.

1. Brown Chunky coolant

2. Fast Barely audible Turn Signal(only right side)

3. Sweet Smell Coming from the heater vents(only with heater, not AC)

4. Car Shakes at 60 MPH

5. AC Barely blows any air

I don't know exactly what of these problems would be covered in my Extended Warranty

Air Conditioning problem

2000 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Automatic 108000 miles

I bought a Toyota Corolla a few weeks back and they told me that the compressor needed to be replaced, I took it back and they installed compressor, but said I needed a new condenser. Just got the car back, the AC ran for a few days but now i get the same air with or without the ac! Also, i had to use my heater the other morning and a sickening sweet caramel smell came out of the vents? I believe thats the heater core, could these two things be connected? Please Help!!!

I got a speeding ticket memorial day weekend(me and a couple thousand others :() It is coming up on being due on the 25th of June. The only problem is that I am a student, and I don't get my student loans until the 9th of July, If I wait until then will I have to pay to get my license reimbursed? HELP!!!

My mother and father went to court before I was 18 in the matter of back child support. They never came to a final agreement as both lawyers left the case. I am now 21, and my father would like to help me out by paying his back child support. My mother is willing to settle for half the back owed support we have no idea how to pursue this as we wish to keep it out of the courts. This case is in Illinois, and my father is on the dead beat list
