I want to create mocktails, so I don't want to use another alcohol.

I'm wondering if it's a popular day to visit the park or not.

Does the broth add "fat" or something else that I may not be thinking of. I'm asking because I don't want to go to the store to get broth and I don't have any way to make it - without going to the store.

Seems like I have a ton of nail polish, nail files (and tools), and other nail related items. I want to store them in a pretty but out of sight way -- so I'm wondering what ideas you may have.

I need something that I can easily carry to the den so I can watch TV while I paint my nails and wait for it to dry.

A spider built a web outside our third-story screened porch and now there are leaves in it. It's not the end of the world, but when I'm looking out my eye is naturally drawn to it.

It's on the outside and it cannot really be reached with a ladder because there's not a safe place to lean the ladder. We tried using the water hose but it could not reach the area. I tried spraying from the inside with Windex thinking it might weaken it and allow the wind to blow it off. This sorta worked - maybe I just need a stronger chemical?

Anyone have any other ideas that would not involve putting my life in danger? :-)

For pasta - when is lists the nutritional information it says the serving size is "2 oz." - which I think means before cooked.

Am I right?

I opened a glass jar of canned tomatos and put into my soup. After the soup had been cooking for 10 minutes I noticed that there was an half inch chip of glass off the top of the jar.

Is there a way to find the chip if it is in my food? Will it float to the top since it's lighter???

I dont' want to throw the food away - but I don't want to eat glass either. I looked on the floor and the counter .. but don't see it.

I thought the I Love Money finale was kinda slow. I would have been happy with either one winning - maybe that was the problem.

Just got back from a concert where I paid $200 a seat for front row tickets. For the last 3 songs (before I left) a ton of women just rushed the front row. The concert security did nothing to contain them or push them back.

How did I see the show - well luckily the tall lady in front of me was taping it with her phone and I could see the singer that way.

Not that I expect anything, but I'm going to complain to the venue management. At $200 a seat I expect a little more crowd control - otherwise I would have paid the $65 and sat on the third row.

A Chinese family has just moved next door to us. The wife does not speak much English.

Are there any Chinese customs (such as gifts?) that might make her feel welcome to our neighborhood and let the family feel welcome.

Maybe they would appreciate an American custom more? I'm trying to be nice - not insulting.

I ordered 2 chairs to be made Saturday afternoon. I have since changed my mind and decided not to take the chairs. I'm being told that once the order is made it's a commitment.

I have not taken possession of the chairs - I doubt if the order has even been faxed to the factory yet.
