Why do people who ask Christian challenging questions, never accept or respect Christian based answers? Isn't that self defeating? What a Paradox.

It's such a shame that most of those questions are typed by people who have no real interest in understanding Christianity, just want to mock it. Very sad.

I am looking for a container that sits on the counter-top. People put spatulas and mixing spoons inside it. What is the name of this item? (It's not a spoon rest that sits on a stove top)- I used a flower vase for it, but the opening isn't quite right.

I think it happened about a month ago-

She seems to limp more after getting up from a nap, rather than when she's been on it for a while...

She doesn't wine about it unless I press my finger in between her foot pad- press on her little "finger". It definitely seems as if her paw/ finger is the sensitive area, not her leg... Her pads seem fine. I don't see any scratches.

I am a single mom, and with most people money is tight.

I will obviously get an xray if I need to, but I am really praying for a "hail mary toss" here... is there a vet that may read my situation and can offer any advice before I spend too much money???

I thought if it were a sprain, it would have healed by now...

I know taking too much of some minerals are bad for you. I am interested in Fiber- the powder fiber you drink.

Metamucil says 1tsp, 3x a day. (to work properly to relieve constipation)

I also know diets urge high fiber values for improving fast digestion.

Will it be bad if I drink twice that amount? How about three times the amount?

Fiber lowers cholesteral, and promotes digestive health, so this should be okay....

Ok you TV tech gurus... I have a Direct TV HD DVR. I found out if I get a 4 channel component switch, and a wireless remote extender, I will be able to get Sat TV in my family room and bedroom. (I haven't done this yet)... so if it sounds wrong, let me know.

My question is, if I do this, can I watch two different things, or the have to be the same thing on both tvs

1) a man who owns a rather well established construction business decided his "employees" are now "sub contractors". Have a few questions

a) can he just decide that? What steps must be followed?

b) can he still require a uniform shirt with his company name on it

c) is he still required to have workers comp? AND would these subcontractors be covered on it?

d) what proof does he need to show his payroll goes to subcontractors and not employees? (I know there is a difference when filing taxes, but before that point is what I am referring to)

I know the bolt pattern and offset are the same. Are there any other measurements that would make this match, impossible? OR can anyone just tell me if they know for a fact or not if they know if these two car rims are compatible or not. Thanks!

Our 1999 Jimmy SLT has sat for about 2 months. We started it up, and the 4x4 button area (AUTO 4 WD, 2 HI, 4 LO, & 4HI) are blinking and there is a clicking noise associated with it. It seems as the clicking is coming behind the glove box. What can this be? I did try the fuse (#15 in the box) and it is fine.

Trying to get my son a different phone. He has a Virgin mobile, but he has like $60 worth of minutes, we have to "top up" and its such a waste of money.

We just want him to have a phone that you buy minutes, once you are out- no matter how long it takes, you just buy more minutes.

What's the best phone, and who offers it? I'd like to stay around $30 or under for the phone.

We live in SC. There must be a division that holds employers responsible for paying as agreed. He makes the employees use time sheets, time cards and still doesn't even pay them whats due on payday. Not only that, but I suspect he hired some illegal immigrants. I googled it, but its almost 12am, and I am tired. Is there anyone out there who knows what rights an employee has, and how to file?

I am a long term single mom of a 9 yr old boy. I dated a man for 2 yrs without knowing he was a deadbeat dad of a 12 yr old girl in GA.

He kept it from me. Along with him being a functioning alcoholic, is why I dumped him. I changed my number and tried to move on. I have so much anger and questions of how and why he could hide that from the very start. He hurt my son by being another man who disappointed and lied to us (the other man was his own father who left without a goodbye 5 yrs ago).

I answer questions here and there. I gravitate to the poor souls looking for advice in the dating region, although have been of some help in other subjects. I wonder how much of our own input would we really listen to? I noticed my feelings influence my answers. If I just had a bad day, my answers would be more cut and dry, harsh and probrably even a little negative. If I have a good day, or a day with very little drama (maybe some would catagorize as a boring day) My answers would contain more insight, feelings and possibly even hopeful. Has anyone ever come back at you with something you may have mentioned, and not remember it, or can't believe that you actually said that at the time? So my question to you is: Do you really give advise based on the question, or based on your feelings of the day?

Zhu Zhu is a dang electic hamster. If your kid wants a zhu zhu, then you have to go to the black market. What are the chances that "Yahoo Answers" would actually listen to this suggestion? As an example, someone posts "what makes you mad?" (for the hundredth billionth time). If it gets 10 thumbs down for being a stupid question, then the person gets minus points. Is that fair? What do you think?
