Economy hurt us, we live with my brother. My brother has rules for my son (11 yrs old). Such as NO eating in the living room. NO cursing, no mess.. and so on, NO PROBLEM THERE. BUT this morning my son was arguing with me and my brother said that he will NOT talk that way in HIS house... I told him that this is MY son and I will deal with it. My brother said that while we are under his house that my son will not talk that way to anyone or he will shut the power down so that my son won't have tv or games.

We had a yelling match and told him that my son is MY issue and I will deal with it, my brother said that I will NOT win this argument and that is the way it will be.

I THINK my son (has adhd) is acting this way due to my brother.

We can not afford to move out. I believe that my brother is stepping over the boundaries and its not his place to tell my son that he better not argue with me. We don't like living here, its the first time in 12 years that we needed help.

Any suggestions how to deal with my brother without punching him in the face and tell him to shove his house up his BUTT!

My friend quit his job and admitted to stealing money from his company, already paid the majority of it back, almost all. But EDD of California has denied his benefits because his company put reason for him QUITTING is that he embezzled. Even tho the paperwork he signed said he resigned.

I want to add that he was NOT caught, he admitted to it and resigned on the spot and signed over the checks that he was owed over to them.

At this time he has not gone to court nor has charges been filed against him.

EDD has denied his benefits.

I know what he did was wrong and he knows too thats why he admitted to it. The company could not catch him doing it..

What should he do now, please no HATE messages, find an attorney? (if so what kind) or what company(s) would consider hiring him? It will be on his background check I am assuming.

And how can a company 'change' the reason for him quiting when he signed one form and they are tell a different story.

I have a five gallon tank, I want to add more fish...

So far I have a sucker fish with my male betta, I know I can not add more bettas but I want to add more pretty fish.. any fish do? As long as they are bigger then the betta?

The betta does NOT bother the sucker fish. So everyone that told me no other fish will mix with the betta, well... I just don't believe that.

I want to grow some veggies on my patio (live in condo). Which plants are best? There is an hour or so that it gets direct sunlight. (living in vegas) Use potting soil? Some type of fertilizer?

Trying to save money, so this must be a cheap venture. So do not refer me to buying some type of machine, won't do it.

I have used boiling water and Mr. Clean Sponge, they are not working. Its that yellow drippy stuff that is by the stove and beyond. Any ideas?

I don't want to scrub too much and take the paint off the wall. I can scratch it off with my nail but too much of it. It was there when I moved in, so at least four months old.
