  • I am making pannacotta - two questions....serving - how and what with?

    Hi everyone,

I am cooking for 6 next week and my dessert is going to be a chocolate pannacotta with mandarin sauce.

I don't have any ramekins, just some matching little glass tumblers. I want to use these, but if I tip the glasses over to try and serve the dessert, how can I ensure it slips out nicely and doesn't get half stuck and stuff? I know I could just serve the glass, but thought it'd look nicer if I served it standing out on its own?

Also, I am making the mandarin sauce, and also want to balance with something like clotted cream or mascarpone....any suggestions??

  • Excel 2003 - page print margin lines?

    Hi all,

I am building an Excel workbook to use for demoonstrating calculations. Once I have looked at 'Print Preview' the dashed line (--------) appears around the edges of my page. I understand this is to help me see where pages start and stop for printing purposes, however as I will be using the computer to demonstrate, I'd rather not have these displayed. Does anyone know how to switch them off please??

    Many thanks,

    Lisa.

  • I live in a ground floor flat.....?

    Hi,

I live in a ground floor flat and my neighbour upstairs often works away. When he is away, obviously his heating won't be on. Is it my imagination or does my house get colder as well? When he is in, does the heat from his somehow keep mine a teeny bit warmer? I swear I am having to bung the temperature up on mine more when he is away??

I am using Microsoft Office 2003 on Windows Vista and it seems to keep crashing......I complete a few paragraphs of my work and sometimes when I try to do an action (e.g. save or change a format or something) it goes to the 'Not Responding' focus and does nothing. I then have to close and re-open the document and start again. It is causing problems because not saving all my work and I am having t write everything when on the 'Not Responding' screen so I can re-type!

  • Best fat burning exercise

Afternoon all - I have put some weight on recently and am wanting to revive my routine at the gym to battle this!! I seem to have put most on to my thighs, then my bum, and then my belly in that order.

What is the best fat burning exercise for these areas? Especially the thighs first, then the bum and then the top bit of my belly?

    Thanks! :-)
