I am currently contracted to work 16 hours per week, although my contract states that this is subject to extra hours as and when I am needed and at short notice, these extra hours are credited to me as time in lieu / or time owing.

The problem is, since I started working here I have been made to work an extra hour each day, taking my weekly hours to 21 per week. So I am working 21 hours per week but only being paid for 16.

Can they do this? As it seems that them requiring me to work 21 hours per week is now PERMANENT, shouldn't I be contracted / paid to work 21?

I wouldn't mind but at 5 extra hours per week, it doesn't look like I will ever get chance to take all this time owing to me in lieu, off from work. It just seems like they are getting 5 hours free work every week.

I need to disconnect the cooker to re-plaster the kitchen, the new cooker will be being put in in about 3 to 4 weeks.

The oven was connected to the mains electric and Ive disconnected and removed that ...

... now I need to disconnect the (seperate) gas hob connected to the mains gas and be able to leave it for a length of time safely, until a CORGI fitter installs the new appliance.

Ive no experience with gas but dont want to pay a call out fee just for this.

If people believe that they go to heaven when they die, then at what age or physical state do they enter heaven?

For example, if a parent dies at the age of 30 but their child lives to be 70, then will they have to live eternally with the child being 40 years older than the parent? Dosent make sense.

I hear people talk all the time about being with their loved ones once again in heaven, so ...

If a young couple get married at the age of 16 and the wife dies at 17 but the husband lives on to be a grand old age of 97, would this be acceptable, ethical or even make sense for them to be man and wife in heaven forever?

Or would you say that everyone would be "reborn"? Which itself would be a massive concern as the whole population of heaven would be the the exact same age?

Anyone religious I have asked this question to have failed to give me a logical, credible answer and manage to change subject with great skill.

I have an goodmans ld3750hd tv but am unsure what cables to use and how to do it by the looks of it it has a port in the back of the telly that is rectangulan with 2 small screws like the one that goes from the monitor to the tower.so basically i need to know which cable to buy and the best way to hook it up
