  • Periodontitis treatment?

My pockets a few months ago were mostly 4mm's and some 3's and 5's. My Dentist didn't seem to worried just told me once I got a deep cleaning everything should be fine. So making plans to do it this month.

But, I have been noticing the gaps between my teeth and my gums and only my front upper teeth here lately. They are extremely ugly and my teeth are actually quite nice except for those gaps. After I get a deep cleaning will those gaps become smaller? Or is there any other way to get them smaller?

  • trying to find a song with these lyrics?

"Wishing on a star" or pretty close to it, all google comes up with is Rose Royce, Jay-Z, Paul Weller, and Beyonce pretty much.

It is none of those, I have heard the song before and I think it is either a band or solo male artist from the mid or late 2000's probably. Those lyrics are all I can remember and probably are just part of the song once.

It is a long shot I know, but does anyone have any idea what the song is or the artist? I don't know why but the music and those lyrics are driving me insane lol. Only thing worse than having a song stuck in your head is a song stuck in your head that you can't find.

  • Why is my school not listed in any private student loan lender?

Financial Aid isn't going to cover everything, which not that it matters a whole since I am only able to get financial aid one semester out of the year due to my parents always filing their taxes late, and my school wants my parents taxes regardless if I get selected for verification or not.

Anyways, I have to have private student loans as a result, yet every single private loan lender I go to doesn't have the school attend on the list? Why is that? I am about to just give up on college if I can't get a private student loan... no way I can keep paying in cash. My school is fairly large and well known in west TN yet it seems lenders won't lend their students money.

Anyone know why my school is not in the drop down list? Has anyone had this problem?

  • HDMI No Signal problem?

Bought a LG about a year ago (now out of warranty) and the rear HDMI port displays "No Signal".

When nothing is plugged in to it HDMI 1 is grayed out, plug a HDMI connected to PS3, Computer, or Satellite and HDMI 1 becomes active, meaning it reads something is plugged in. However, when I select HDMI 1 the TV displays the "No Signal" message.

HDMI 2 works fine luckily, though its a pain constantly having to unplug and plug something else in.

Tried different HDMI cords and updating the Firmware. Still the TV recognizes that a HDMI cord is plugged in but is still displaying "No Signal".

Anyone experience this before or know why it is doing this? It is a 42LD450 btw

  • Do you have to get your teeth cleaned when you go to a dentist?

I am going to the dentist to get X-rays taken and to discuss a wisdom tooth that needs to be pulled (however only started coming in about a month ago) and was wondering do they *have* to clean my teeth?

A couple years ago (Last time I went) I can understand because my teeth were horrible. But now, the only thing I have wrong is two cavities that I failed to show up for and get fixed two years ago and this wisdom tooth.

All I want done is this thing to be pulled, but I gotta feeling they are gonna want to clean my teeth. But here is the thing, I don't like it. I mean really really don't like it. Sends chills up my spine just thinking about. The last time I had my teeth clean I actually wished I was at the top of a building so I could jump.

I can't explain it, but simply put, having my teeth clean is one of the biggest fears in my life. So is there anyway I can convince them not to do it? Because honestly, I don't think I can go through it again.

So do they always clean your teeth or will they make an exception? How does that work?

  • Help with wisdom tooth problems.?

I think I have a wisdom tooth coming in the upper left. Been sore for a couple months. But I was fine with it. However, today I wake up and feel something in my mouth. Come to find out it is my gum on the side of the wisdom tooth is tearing off. It is annoying and kinda making me feel sick just thinking about it.

So was just wondering, is this normal? Should I just leave it alone (Will be extremely hard to eat since it is so uncomfortable) or do I need to go to a dentist (Which I really, really, really don't like. I mean really freaks me out).

Basically I am wondering if it is due to the wisdom tooth or possible something else, even though that would be a big coincidence. And if it is due to the wisdom tooth why is it the side of the gum? Seems to me it would be the top of the gum. And will it heal over time or is it ok just to let it fall off or what?

Also doesn't help today is finals and now I won't concentrate.

Any help at all would be great, thanks.

  • What is wrong with my computer?

Computer is only about 2 years old. But it is acting like (I know what I want to call it). About a week ago the GPU overheated so had to buy a new one. Ati 6770. Ever since it has been acting stupidly crazy (Which was also doing it before but not to this extent).

I have formatted the computer, reset it to factory settings and re downloaded all the updates. a few days later I went to start it and it kept booting to reset to Factory settings page. I don't know why, kept hitting start windows normally and just kept going back to reset to factory settings page.

So I did it again.. re download all updates which took forever. Come back and the screen is black. Pitch black. Stays that way for awhile. So I turn the computer off and after the Microsoft loading logo it scans the registry like something is screwed up. How!? I just reset the stupid thing to factory settings... again!

This computer is stressing me out big time. It is a Alienware with 6 Gigs of ram, core 2 duo, 750 Watt Power supply. Vista 64 bit.

Checked all the hardware, scanned them and everything. Nothing is overheating, fans work, everything was in good shape except the GPU which was probably a fluke and I replaced it.

Does anyone know why this computer is acting so screwy? I am tired of waking up every morning wanting to get on it just to get stressed out and mad for the rest of the day.

  • Why does Computer boot to factory reset?

My computer decided to freeze up earlier. So I had no choice but to shut it down, which I and everyone else have done when a computer freezes up. But when it boots, it boots up semi ok.

The black screen comes up asking me if I want to Start windows normally or System repair. I always just hit enter (which is default on Start Windows normally) because all the computer did was freeze. Except then Alienware Respawn came up with the menu to restore to factory settings.

So I hit canceled thinking I may have just hit System repair by accident. Computer restarts and I make sure to hit Start Windows. Does the Microsoft loading and goes to System Restore again. And again. So then I hit System Repair thinking maybe windows got the names reversed, and no. Takes me to System Restore.

There are no options to go into safe mode (really odd). And System Repair won't let me do a system restore. Each restore date says the Hardrive C is corrupted. I scan to fix and everything and still says it. I just formatted this computer a week ago.

(Thought there was a virus come to find out the GPU was fried, I have checked all other Hardware and everything is fine, actually better than fine surprisingly).

I have documents on here now that I haven't backed up and really, really don't want to format... again.

Has anyone ever had this problem or know how to fix it? Google is no help, everything I found were questions asking how to restore to factory settings. Mine is how do I not.

I really don't see why it won't boot to windows. Isn't showing windows failed to start. Its like the Start to windows option is screwed up or something.

  • How hot should a processor get?

My computer has been freezing up lately under heavy intensive tasks. Minecraft, Netflix Video's and even putting in a blank disk to back up data. I get lines all across the screen (Transparent/blue).

I have looked it up and seems to be overheating problem. I downloaded something to monitor the heat from Cnet and my cores seem to be at 100C together. Core 0 is usually about 50 while Core 1 is about 46-47.

Is this good or bad? I opened up my case and all of the fans are blowing (3) it is quite cool on the inside, fans have some dust on them but just a small, small layer not enough to stop any heat at all from not leaving. Even with the computer being shut off for a hour + and the side being off as soon as I turn it on and input a disk to format to back up my documents it freezes again. Checked the fans, all working in great condition, The Graphics card is working, and the CPU.

I also took the graphics card out and put it back in to see if it was loose or something.

it is a Alienware a couple years old standard except upgraded it to 6 GB's of ram.

So, is 50C for each core good or bad? nd if it is bad why is it overheating so quickly when all of the fans work and the side is even off?

And if that is not it, what else could be overheating? The GPU looks ok and the fan works, but how would I know if it is fried?

  • why does my computer keep freezing?

A couple days a go netflix started giving me a green screen for a video of Pawnstars I was trying to watch even on other browsers, skipped it and haven't had that problem since.

Yesterday, When i went to play minecraft my computer froze up after a couple minutes with blue transparent squiggly lines across the screen (they were frozen also). I restart and get on again and does it again. Then I try to do a virus scan on the folder and the screen does it again. I then try system restore doesn't come up.

Start in safe mode and it does, go back 5 days and when it is done the computer hangs at the welcome loading icon so I have no choice but to restart it. Upon getting to the login I get a black screen with my cursor and that's it. Even in safe mode. So I am pretty mad at this point.

I restore my computer to factory settings. And when going through the steps to set up the computer again it does the blue squiggly lines again at the part where it tests my computers hardware.

Restart and try again, this time it works right. I log in and re-download updates and drivers. Then I download minecraft to get started since I have to start all over. Works fine for a few hours and I decide to take a nap. Anyways, a couple hours a go I went to watch Psych on Netflix. Downloaded silverlight and as soon as the video plays I get a blue screen crash.

Says something about the video drivers or something. Restarts and in the solutions report it says Nvidia stopped working properly and to check for the latest drivers. (Which i think I have).

So, I go back to netflix and as soon as the video starts I get... yellow squiggly lines with my computer frozen again!

So, I want to know what in the ____ is going on?? It can't be a virus, and its odd how it does it mainly on video or games (Though not just limited to them). Sounds like it is the graphics card.

Before I restored the system I checked inside he case and it looks Good, some dust on the fans but very little. A tall tower thing (Which I have no idea what it is, kinda square with like 20 metal pieces stacked) had ALOT of dust on two sides of it, the other two were clean as can be, So I cleaned it and checked the graphics card. Looks in good condition and is like bolted down tight, its not loose.

So, does anyone know what is wrong with my computer? I have established it wasn't a virus. Has to be hardware but makes no sense. If it was the drivers I was using and I restored the system to factory settings why did it freeze with the blue lines on setting up the computer?

I can undderstand a driver being corrupted, but if I restore the computer to factory settings it should act just like it did, and I would remember if it had done this.

Anyone know what could be wrong? I been considering dropping some money on a new graphics card, one with HDMI output for sound. But kinda don't want to right now but will if I have to.

Can anyone confirm the graphics card is the problem, sounds like it to me but I never had these problems before. Dont want to spend $200 and find out thats not why these problems are happeneing and that I just blew all that money.

Also, my specs are Vista 64 Bit Home Premium

    Core 2 Duo E8400

    6 Gigabytes Ram

    Nvidia 9800GT 1 gigabyte memory.

Thanks and sorry for the long question.

  • Computer keeps freezing?

My computer keeps freezing instantly for some reason. Started this morning for no apparent reason.

When it does freeze some boxes that look like static come up (they are blue and kinda transparent) all over the screen.

ctrl alt delete doesn't even do anything, the mouse won't move. and now it seems this is happening even a couple minutes after I start the computer. No viruses either. the computer is using a 9800 GT with 6 gigs of ram, so shouldn't be doing this.

    Anyone know why? Thanks.

  • Broadband Map question?

Is it me or does it not work? I know the thing is broke and almost a complete waste of money and gives false hope to people (Such as where I live, says I have DSL but no.. I don't) And my dad who lives in a small area without cable due to politics in the city or something despite being a heavy populated area (says he has access to Cable but he doesn't).

So of course the thing is broke, but I am bored and just want to look around in it.

What I mean is, is it actually broke? On the homepage it has a search bar and then the button right next to it that says "Find Broadband".

However, no matter what I do it always does the little loading thing that all webpages do and then brings me right back to that same page. Does it on two different computers as well as Firefox and IE.

It also did this about two months ago, I just thought the site may have been under maintenance.

Anyways, last time I had to manually zoom in on the map portion to look around all the areas I wanted to view, and that was just painful.

I have tried inputting, towns, counties, exact street addresses, even latitude and longitude. But nothing.

Can anyone confirm it is working for them or confirm even the search function is broke on the stupid $300 million dollar map?

  • How long does it take to get a lost title?

My parents want to sell my a truck of theirs kinda cheap. However they lost the title and have to get a new one. They are going to send it in via mail. I am then going to take the truck and trade it in for something better on gas. (This is TN btw)

So I want to know 2 things.

    1. How long will it take to get the replacement title?

    2. After they sign it over to me do I have to get a second replacement title to sign over to a dealer or private buyer, or can it be done with the same title?

  • Mini Fridge coolant question?

I dont know much about a mini fridge, but I have a Coles I think it is. It is tall and has a freezer at the top right. There was a lot of ice in it and my friend came over and seen it and decided to get a knife and fix it. I told him that I would do it later and he didn't listen.

He got a lot of the ice out and kept on hitting the rest of the ice with the knife, until all the sudden I hear this hissing sound. In the freezer, right on the right he hit the coil and then I guessed it leaked all of its anti-freeze.

But how would I fix this? I figure something like superglue or some tough tape would fix it but how would I go about putting more anti-freeze in there? He laughed it off saying it makes its own anti-freeze and I don't buy that, so how would I add more?

  • Fafsa question about assets?

I filled out the Fafsa not long ago, and I marked no to the question about if your parents Assets are more than $44,000.

This may, or may not need to be corrected. My parents, in theory are worth millions from their real estate business. However, the economy hit the real-estate market bad as everyone know, and didn't help matters that my mother got very sick and even the doctors told her they don't see why she is still alive.

Anyways, she and I both always believed Assets mean how much something is worth minus the debt. And looking at the definition it seems to be something that has the benefit of being worth something.

But all of our property is maxed out debt wise, our house, subdivisions, any property we fully owned. Even if they sold everything, right now, They would still owe more than $300,000. They got hit very, very hard and I don't consider that a Asset because they benefit from none of it.

But legally are they Assets? My Fafsa got marked for verification and wondering do I need to go in and change that.

  • Are Child Support documents available to the public?

I am 20 years old and my dad wasn't really there for me when I was younger, but past couple years he has been. My mother says he never paid child support and swears by it, I kinda wanna know for sure so I want to know how I can see the records.

I know she won't go to the courthouse, and as far as her lawyer goes, that was 18 or 19 years a go. So, can I call the courthouse and somehow get the records or must she be the one to request them? This is Tennessee by the way.

  • Creating a new moto-blur account?

Got a Motorola Atrix today and set up my account and everything in store. However the email I used is my current one but I have to make a new one and need to know that if I delete everything on the phone and reset it and make a new account will my apps carry over some how?

According to their site this must be done because you can't change the email, you must create a new account.

according to them that must be done and they say nothing will be effected on the SD card, so do I just move my paid apps over to the SD card? Such as Angry Birds and Fpse. And then move them back over to the phone when I make a new Motoblur account with a new email?

Or will I have to re-buy these apps? Thanks.

  • Why is my Computer using 50% memory and running few programs?

Task mannager shows 50% of CPU usage if the computer is just idle. If I move the mouse or type it jumps up to 70-80%. I have 67 Processes and most of them are for Windows and System. About the only extra thing I have open is Steam and there is no way it is doing it by itself.

I have startup Prgrams turned off except for essentials. My computer Spec are.

    Windows Vista 64 bit

    6 GB Ram

    Core 2 Duo

    500 GB hardrive.

I have also tried CCleaner and didn't help. And I have Kaspersky and run weekly virus checks.

  • Is there a way to retrieve Lost Savings Bonds?

When i was younger some of my family bought me savings bonds. My grandparents I know for sure and fairly sure my grandparents from the other side of the family did as well as my uncle. They gave them to my mother until I turned 18 and then I could decide what to do with them.

I am going to college in the Fall and may need some extra money if Fafsa or student loans don't pay for it all. However, my mother gets furious whenever I bring up my savings bonds. She says she can't find them.

So, I want to know. Is there a way to get them back? Thanks.

  • Regesitering for selective services?

I just turned 20 last week and I haven't registered I don't think. I remember getting the letter when I was 18 and I could have sworn that it said 21 was the deadline. Anyways. I found the papers today - not the letter just the paper to sign up and the blue envelope. So I decided to go ahead and do it. I remember a few people I know told me to wait as long as I could though. (They are the "man is out to get you" camp) I didn't care about what they thought. SS is one thing I actually wanted to do.

But I just have been busy with the whole college thing. Their have been problems holding me back from that and they are finally fixed after 2 years so I can go to college in the Fall.

However, I just want to know. Will SS try to make a big deal out of me not registering within 30 days of my 18th birthday? They say 18-26 but it becomes illegal after 30 days you turn 18 regardless.

    Thanks in advanced.
