  • If the pope says he speaks to god..?

it isn't considered crazy (except by atheists and assumably non-catholics), but if the pope says he speaks to god by speaking into his hair dryer all of a sudden its crazy. Why would the addition of a hair dryer make it crazy?

  • Are republicans serious?

I love what warren buffet said this week and said the rich should pay more in taxes, after all he is an extremely respected businessman.

And yet republicans want to tax the poor more instead of taxing the rich. Rick Perry wants to eliminate medicare and social security. American international corporations refuse to bring their money back to our economy because they have to pay the 35% in taxes which is what small mom and pop shops pay. Rick Perry wants to make that tax 0% because he thinks it will create more jobs.

So do you think we should tax the rich more and do you think Rick Perry is a viable candidate?

  • Its early but who would you vote for in 2012?

Many americans i'm sure looked at the republican hopefuls last night in the debate and said to themselves i don't want to vote for any of these. So we're left voting for obama which i am personally a little reluctant to do, but its better than the alternative. I should've noticed obama was meek, easily bullied, and didn't have clear & concise opinions years ago. When he was a state senator he voted present 130 times on things he didn't want to vote for or against...

Sorry i got a little off topic, but who do you want to vote for?

  • my fellow atheists we have a problem?

Apparently it would be in our best interest not to try to tell people that God isn't real. Well maybe just telling them that hell isn't real would be bad. It seems that the more of a population that believes in hell the more likely our economy will be more prosperous and less corrupt.

So does this fact deter bothering the christians because hell finally providing us with something useful?

  • Religious people what do you think of gay marriage?

Some christians believe that it is immoral and a sin. That homosexuals should go to church, get on their knees and put the "body" of a man into their mouths instead of performing sexuals acts on their knees by putting a part of a man into their mouths. So what is your take on gay marriage? I believe in equal rights.

"Gays, blacks, and jews don't deserve equal rights. I'm allowed to own slaves"

    1) Hitler's teachings

    2) the KKK

    3)The Bible

In no way do i hold these feelings or am saying that christians who believe in the bible hold these ideas.

  • Do you believe the educational system is "broken?"?

Come September I will be entering junior year of my college career and I feel like I have learned nothing of importance. College seems to be more about taking notes and then regurgitating that same information on a test.

Real value seems to be in internships but even they result often times in just filing papers or answering phones. College would be more efficient with a hands-on approach. Maybe thats why engineering and computer sciences are such in demand. Your doing work in school that more closely represents what you will do.

Well thats my take whats yours?

  • Whys the bible so sexist?

    1 Corinthians 11:7 – 9

7 For a man indeed ought not to cover [his] head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

    1 Corinthians 14:34 – 35

34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

    Ephesians 5:22 – 25

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing.

    1 Timothy 2:9 – 15

    9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

and yes i copied and pasted

  • Do people really think Obama is to blame for the gas prices?

Yes lets all blame Obama for the prices of gas! Why or why not do you think its obama's fault.

Also if you complain about gas prices and also are opposed to the war in Iraq then your a hypocrite.

Many people are unaware that John McCain was actually born in Panama? So why was he allowed to run for president? Is it because he was born on a u.s. naval base?
