i also have user-made driver framework feature pack 1.0 and silverlight (all microsoft) on my computer and what i really want to know is...do i really need all of this on my computer? and if i do...why?

I just updated my internet explorer and I can't figure out why every time I log on and go to my favorite websites I have to sign in each time.

Or why the sites I type into the address box isn't saved,making me have to type it in each and every time.
