  • Question about Multiplying fractions?

I have a question (multiple choice) that gives me some sets of fractions (4 sets) and asks me to pick the set containing the two fractions, that when multiplied together, would have a product that is greater than either fraction.

I remember reading somewhere that if fractions are improper, that their product would be greater than both of the fractions.

There is one set where both are improper. So would that one be the correct answer?

There is also a set where on of the fractions is improper and the other one is proper.

The other two sets have two fractions that are both proper. So I'm thinking that neither of those would be correct.

I know I could just multiply the fractions and then order them from greatest to least and stuff like that, but I think we are supposed to be able to tell just from looking at it.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • four algebra questions about factoring? (they should be easy I think)?

    1. What is the difference in a ‘factor’ and a ‘binomial factor’? How are each factored out?

    2. How is a negative number factored out?

    3. Can all polynomials be factored?

    4. Is it important to have the polynomial in quadratic form before starting the ac-method? Why or why not?

  • basic Spanish help? ¿Qué actividad especial sabes hacer?

What are these questions asking? And what is an appropriate response for them?

I know there are translators I can use, but some of the questions translate weird and I want to make sure I've got them right. Maybe my Spanish teacher just asks weird questions.

    ¿Qué actividad especial sabes hacer?

    ¿A qué hora cenaste ayer?

    ¿Con quién te llevas bien/mal?

¿Cuánto tiempo hace que fuiste al cine?

    ¿A qué hora te acostaste?

    ¿Qué cosa te molesta?

¿Qué le gusta hacer a tu madre o a tu padre?

¿Cómo eras cuando tenías 7 años?

¿Qué hacía tu profesor de niño?

  • What else could TKD stand for? (think of an acronym)?

Besides TaeKwonDo. Like if I have the letters TKD on a poster, what is an acronym I could use for these letters. Something cool and positive that could be on a poster.

  • Christians, would you like to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and pray in tongues?

Not the gift of tongues (speaking in other languages of the world), but "praying" in tongues (supernatural prayer language).

I was just reading an awesome book (Chasing the Dragon by Jackie Pullinger), and it talked about how drug addicts became free from their addictions by praying in tongues.

When you pray in tongues, or "praying in the spirit", your spirit prays, not your brain. So you are praying perfectly. The bible says when you pray in tongues you are edifying yourself (building yourself up) [1 Corinthians 14:4]. Even if you don't feel anything, the Holy Spirit is giving you the words to pray and He knows what you personally need. So something wonderful is always being worked out when you pray in tongues.

Apparently many Christians don't know about this gift, but it is for every believer. I was baptized in the Holy Spirit a year ago, and I can tell you that praying in tongues is very useful.

If you are born again, you have the ability to pray in tongues. If you want to learn how to receive this here are some links:

  • Christians, do you have the baptism of the Holy Spirit?

It is a separate experience from getting your "born again" spirit.

Would you like it? Its for every single one of you.

  • What if I don't believe in atheists?

I'm serious. Please hear me out and answer seriously. I'd appreciate it. :) Thanks in advance.

I saw someone ask this earlier.

And I saw someone answer that it is easily proven that atheists exist.

But that made me think.... how is it easily proven? Can it be proven at all?

Because honestly, I personally don't believe in the existence of atheists. The bible says that everyone has the intuitive knowledge of God. (http://www.awmi.net/bible/rom_01_18).

So is there any way to prove to me that atheists really exist? Or can I only take your word for it and believe (without evidence) you are telling the truth?

  • Looking for an exercise ball??

I was looking for a specific kind of exercise ball. I wanted the kind that is more like a cylinder shape instead of a sphere.

I saw one a long time ago being sold with regular exercise balls. But I haven't seen one in a long time.

It was inflatable, and came with a foot pump just like an exercise ball.

Does anyone know anywhere or any websites where I can buy one?

  • Halloween Stories????????????????????????????

Where can I find some scary stories that are about Halloween?

They can't just be a scary story. It has to have something to do with Halloween.

The story can be fiction, but it has to be about something that happens around Halloween or on Halloween night or something like that.

Does anybody have any stories like this?

  • PE class -- Loved it or Hated it?

I'm writing a paper about problems with Physical Education in schools.

This is for people who had to take PE class in school or are currently in a PE class at school.

You don't have to answer all of the questions below, but answers to some of them would be greatly appreciated.

What are the things that made your PE class so great?

What are the things that made your PE class bad?

What did you do that was fun?

    What was boring?

Do you feel like you really learned anything?

Did you learn any new physical skills?

Do you feel you were "physically educated"?

Was your school PE class a huge waste of time?

Did you look forward to it? Why or why not?

What could be added to school PE programs to be improved? (more equipment, swimming pool, climbing cargo net, rock climbing wall?) or different curriculum (more added or taken away)?

  • Doing a Back flip question?

Ok this is a little long but I would really appreciate the help. :)

I take tumbling lessons at a gymnastics gym, but I'm not competitive in the actual sport of "gymnastics". I'm trying to learn to do a back flip.

My coaches tell me that I need to not "throw my head back". When I do a back flip. What I mean is, I look back when I do it, like when you do a back hand spring. My coaches tell my I need to keep my head "neutral" or tucked or looking forward during the entire flip. I hate doing this. It makes me feel uncomfortable.

But I think this is just a gymnastics standard for what they call a "back tuck".

I've seen plenty of martial artist, free runners, acrobats etc.. who do throw their head back when they do a back flip.

I just want to be able to do a back flip, on the ground, landing on my feet successfully. I haven't tried one on the ground yet. I can do a standing one on a less bouncy trampoline.

I tried to tell my coaches that I just want to be able to do a back flip, and not necessarily a "gymnastics back tuck". But I don't think they understand or else they just don't know how to answer my question because they are so "gymnastics" jaded.

    >>>>>>>> MY QUESTION: Does it really matter if I throw my head back? Can I still safely do a successful back flip?
