    how does prayer work?

    Example - I am a car salesman. I prayed to get a good sale today since I haven t sold anything yet. Just before closing, someone comes in and purchases a top-of-the-range car from me.

    Did God answer my prayer and send someone to purchase something from me? Is it a coincidence? Did God influence someone to do something because of my prayer?

    Other things to consider - I sell this top-of-the-range car quite a lot usually anyway.
