I count my Blessings each and every day and thank God each and every day for each and every day - I have learned to walk by faith and I am learning to see people in a whole different light in my now mature years. I end all answers with God Bless, because there is nothing more to say after that. God Bless

  • What would your children have done?

The Obama Girls acted like little ladies, I have three daughters and at the ages of the Obama Girls, if they would have had to sit through all the pomp and circumstance the Obama Girls endured, well, lets just say all heck would have broken loose, there would have been fights, face making and I am sure one of them would have tried to flip someone the bird - what would your children had done. My girls were well behaved at times, but the longer the service, the more mischief they would have gotten into.

  • You are a Father but not one of your children called you on Father's Day or sent a card - Why?

Okay, you are a father and have any where from one to multiple children out there in the world, most of them are with thier Mothers and/or some other family member or even in foster care, or you just don't know where they are, you have slacked on your fatherly duties and Father's Day again has come and gone - you received not one card or call - how do you feel. But despite it all, your children are being cared for, not by you - but being cared for. Please tell me how you feel. God Bless.

  • Has anyone heard of the saying "there is no face below the waist".?

This was a phrase that was used a lot back in the 70s and 80s, does it still hold true now with all of the sexual adventures young people are having now a days?

  • Is Newark, New Jersey ripe for "race riots" and just "riots" in general, again. 1967 to today, 2007.

I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey and I also grew up with the father of two of the young victims shot last weekend execution style. Well, now they are saying the shootings were carried out by Mexican/Latino gang members. Now the sad thing is and the truth of the matter is, that the majority of Newark's streets belong to the other gangs, the Crips and the Bloods, so now we have outsiders on their turf, and these outsiders have commited murders of their "people". So now here we are 40 years after the first riots, the Newark Police and its Mayor seem not to be able to get a handle on anything and all are just running wild. Will there be a clash between the three gangs, will the residents of Newark take back their City and when will the senseless deaths stop occurring. Now we all know that we can not go back to before 1967, but, has there been any other improvements to the city other than unafforadable and unwanted new housing. What is going to happen?

  • Does having health insurance determine whether you live or die?

My nephew had a minor motorcycle accident and while his injuries are not life threatening, he was on a blood thinner that has kept him in the critical intensive care unit since the tuesday after Mother's Day, with kindey failure, the heart enlarging and a blood clot in one of his lungs. Well he has very good health insurance and his mother is a retired RN. My nephew is in one of the major trauma hospitals in central NJ and is fighting for his life. Since he has been in the ICU almost all of the patients that were there since he arrived and some that came after him have died. Many of them (because this is an inner city facility) have no health insurance and no family members that can be at the hospital 24/7. I honestly feel that if my nephew didn't have a constant family presence and the fact that my sister-in-law is a RN, he would have been dead days ago and would not have received the attention he has. What is your opinion?

  • What is the proper punishment for abusive parents?

Regarding the two little boys that ran away because their parents had put them in a dog cage and even had the older of the two wear a shock collar used in training animals. They ran away, I think they were 10 and 5, they knew they should not have been treated like that, now you are the judge and jury, what punishment would you impose? Should the punishment fit the crime, or should they endure more pain - because they were adults?

  • Is there another medication to treat Alzheimer's Disease other than Aricept or Nameda (? spelling - newest).

My Mom is 84, in the latter stages of A D, she has been on Aricpet (spuradically) for the last 2 years or so, she was still living alone and more times than none did not take her medication. Well the AD progressed and her doctor prescribed the new medicine, Nameda (spelling might be wrong), my Mom took this drug for every bit of 5 days and almost went into diabetic shock, she is not diabetic. She vomited blood and became totally disoriented, more so than ususal, at that point I brought her to live with me and she has been her for 3 weeks now. The new medication was stopped and since she she has been here I tried to observe her closely when it came to her medicine. She is only otherwise slight hypertensive. Well one day when I left the room after giving her breakfast and placing her mediation in front of her, I assumed she had taken both pills. That day she seemed more lucid than ever, later I found that pill under my table the next morning. What to do? Try without the pill?

  • My sister said that she can not deal with our aging Mother, how do I keep from slapping my sister?

My 84 year old mother is in the final stages of Alzheimers and I have opted to have her reside with me. There is just my sister, my Mother and myself, my sister resides in NC and I reside in NJ with my mother. My sister has not seen my mother in over 4 years and I have requested that she come home to see Mommy soon. My sister advised me in no uncertain terms that she can not deal with my Mother and her illness and does not plan to return to NJ to see our Mother. I am not one to hold my tongue, and I haven't, but I don't know if I can be civil when I see my sister, are these feelings unnatural?

I have been out of work on unpaid medical leave for 2 years now. I have used what savings I had and currently have over $300,000.00 in my IRA. I know I will pay a high tax, but can I withdraw money from this account or can I take a loan out from this account? If it is possible, which would be best to take the money out or to take a loan against it. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

  • My friend's married lover who is a minister has been stalking my 22 year old daughter.?

A friend that I grew up with and who is 45 and who has very low self-respect has always wanted to be a first lady of a church, so she has been having an affair with a married minister of her family's church. The minister is a recovering drug and acohol addict. My friend introduced him to my 22 year old daughter when they were working on a fashion show fund raiser for the church. Well to say my daughter and my friend had a falling out and now the minister is stalking my 22 year old daughter. I have called the church, not leaving any specific message, but I have gotten no return calls. Knowing my daughter, she will take him for everything she can and think nothing of it. When I brought this to my friend's attention she said no her "Bo" would never do anything like that. My daughter has the recorded cell phone messages. I am at my wits end and am planning to be in church, in the front pew and give a testimoney. What do you think

  • Has anyone heard the word "abandonminium"?

I recently had a conversation with a squatter who resided in an abandon building and he kept referring to his place of residence as an abandonminium. Talk about making up words to suffice.

  • Has it finally set in that the NYPD is out of control?

The most recent attempt of the NYPD to justify the shooting death of yet another unarmed black male and his unarmed friends once again proves that it is open season on black males. After all the vigils, after all the forums, what will be the outcome, another settlement and again another family without a son, a brother, a husband and a father. Why does it continue to happen? When will it end? Will it end? What will be the justification this time?

  • How to teach a Yorkie patience?

I have a 2 year old male yorkie and a 9 year old female sheltie. Needless to say the differences are astonding, but the yorkie just has no patience. Let it be with being the first out the door, to the first in the door, to be the first to get a treat, gulp it down and then annoy me until I am forced to give up another treat. Meanwhile my sheltie is at my feet still on her first. He is persistent and consistent, nudging and tapping me with the nose, he knows what he wants and he will get you to know what he wants also. He even eats on the run, what's up with that? But to say, sit, wait, like speaking another language. He is not as hyper as when he was younger, but damn, when will he slow down and can I help him?
