I have a recipe for a pumpkin bread that makes 5 loaves. I would like to make muffins with some of it. Am I able to do that or will it just mess things up?
8 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoUp for some FRIENDS trivia?
I was recently watching an episode of the tv show FRIENDS. It was the episode where Ben is born. In the delivery room is a nurse, who later has a reoccuring role on the show. Name the actress and the name of the character she played in the reoccuring role. First correct answer gets the points!

I am working on the neck of a rolled sweater pattern. I am supposed to pick up 84 stitches to start the neck roll. I don't have 84 around the edge to pick up. Now what do I do?
5 AnswersHobbies & Crafts1 decade agoHow did you spend your very first paycheck?
I just saw an article on MSN about how "celebs" spent their first paycheck. It made me wonder about us regular folks. I spent mine on a Cabbage Patch Doll for some reason. Probably because as a child of the 80s I wanted one and never got one. Besides at just over $3 an hour, what else could I have purchased!? So what did you spend your first paycheck on?
6 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoAre you an experienced knitter who can help me with something?
I am a relatively beginning knitter. I am working on a child's sweater. I made a gauge swatch and the gauge was correct...(using a size 8 needle) 9 stitches = 2 inches. So I started the sweater and I am probably 7 inches from the cast on now. The beginning few inches still has the correct gauge. As I move closer to the needle the gauge changes to 9.5 for 2 inches and 10 for 2 inches. Should I change the needles to a different size even though I have knitted 7 inches? Or is it tighter because it's closer to the needles? Thanks for your help!

In the second time in approximately three years I have a groundhog burrowing under my porch near the foundation of my home. It has been the exact same spot both times. Should I bother to pay an astronomical fee to have it removed or just let it be because apparently they will continue to come back?
6 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoLooking for the ultimate chocolate chip cookie recipe! Do you have it?
I had a fantastic recipe for chocolate chip cookies, but I lost it! They turned out fat not deflated. They contained Nestle Tollhouse Morsels not chunks. I will probably never find it, but do you have a tried and true favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe that I can use?

1 AnswerTrying to Conceive1 decade agoCan you please tell me how to grill eggplant?
I have tried grilling it with just olive oil and salt and I have tried it with a marinade. The olive oil and salt was too mushy (and salty) and the marinade was way too powerful. What have you tried that works?
9 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoI just bought a cookie press. Has anyone tried other types of cookie dough besides regular spritz?
I tried using Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookie dough (minus the chocolate chips) just to try it out. It was fun pressing the shapes, but when they baked, they all ran together and/or lost their shapes. What recipes have you tried? If you've only tried spritz, what is your favorite recipe?

14 AnswersTelevision1 decade agoWhy is the line on my ovulation stick getting lighter?
My period last month started later and lasted longer so I started my ovulation sticks a day or two later after my period. The first two days the line was dark, but not as dark so that supposedly meant no ovulation was occurring. Since then, the line has faded. I am using it in the morning which the directions say I can. Is it getting lighter because the hormone is gone? Did I miss my ovulation days this month? Should I assume if they are dark, but not AS dark, that I am close to ovulating? Thanks for your help.

13 AnswersSTDs1 decade agoDrywall contractors, will you answer some questions for me please?
I am planning to start work on a spare bedroom. My house is nearly 100 years old and the walls and ceilings are plaster. The ceiling in this room suffered some water damage as did an interior wall. I haven't stripped the wallpaper yet (which is also on the ceilings) so I don't know how bad the damage is. However, there is considerable staining on the paper in those areas so I know they must be bad. I am definitely having a new ceiling put in. My question is, should I remove all the plaster to have new drywall put in or will the contractor I hire just prefer to hang the drywall over the plaster? Will they just patch the cracks in the plaster on the walls or should I have the drywall hung all over? I haven't begun to look for a contractor yet, but figured I could strip wallpaper and tear down the existing walls if need be. But if they are going to lay drywall over top then there is no point in all that right? Thanks for your help!
