Does anybody have any idea where the Aircraft Carriers..?
U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln, U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt and U.S.S. Ronald Reagan are at this moment in time? How about the Helicopter Landing Assault Carriers U.S.S. Peleliu and U.S.S. Iwo Jima? Know what other navies are presently task forced with them?

In Screams Aloud… 2 of 2
A sight to strike me dumb, this vision appears
In mist it comes and turns to be
A maiden is she, saying unto me
“This night you will be free!”
What’s that you say?
What is it that comes this day?
“Thru the empty years and hard felt tears
I have awaited you
Thru the chilling nights and times of fright
I have awaited you”
“Why do you not know it is life which you fear?
This thing you do not hold at all dear
You live in an empty world totally devoid of cheer
No one to love, any souls or kinsmen who you hold near
Alone you are, alone you have been
But this night I shall set you free!”

In Screams Aloud…
In screams aloud
I have awaken unproud
Lost in the dark
An unknown fear dwelling in my heart
Not at all clear this thing which I fear
Something not at all dear
Tis’ nothing there at all
Nothing large nor nothing small
It is alone that I am and alone I shall be
No unseen horror from which I must flee
Nothing save my own foolishness robs me of my rest
Nothing, but some unseen, unreal pest
My eyes grow weary of this dim night’s light
And no longer do I wish to fight
Or evade sweet sleep’s delight
I pray with eyes closed tight
No longer could I linger
Only to hear the faint distant voice of a singer
“Thru your empty life and times of strife
I have awaited you
Thru the sleepless nights and days of flight
I have awaited you”

In Darkness.....
In darkness I rise
Moving silently
Creeping softly
Slowly one foot before the other
Listening to the dark
Gentle breaths in and out
In darkness I turn
observing in dim light
The borders 'tween shadow and light
The bounders 'tween real and fright
Nothing here
And less over there
In darkness I awake
How long have I stood
How long have I paced
Standing guard in dark
All my sleep gone to waste
6 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoHow quiet can it be?
On this quiet Earth
On this quiet morning
In this quiet little town
Along a quiet little road
Stands a quiet little house
Alone in her quiet bedroom
My Lover dreams quietly
Quietly I sit and drink my coffee
As I quietly read my mail
And Kosmo quietly licks his paws
Quietly I sit and wonder
If quietly this is as it should be
And quietly I come to realize
There is no place I rather be
1 AnswerPoetry1 decade agoAre there any known examples of the T28/T95 105mm Tank Destroyer anywhere in the United States???
The 28/T95 was a prototype Tank Destroyer with a 105mm cannon that was in development in 1945. Unlike other U.S. Tank Destroyers of that period, the T28/T95 did not have a turrett having an Assualt Gun type configuration. This vehicle's most interesting feature was that it was double tracked having to outer sponsor units that could be removed from the hull and towed behind the vehicle to travel on narrow roadways. Once clear of built up areas the sponsors could be re-attached and effectively reduced the ground pressure of the vehicle on soft ground footing. Any further information, photographs or illustrations will be greatly appreciated, thank you....
