  • Are people afraid to answer my question?

All I asked yesterday is if there is a difference between the words Muslim and Moslem. I received no answers. I have heard the worshipers of the religion of Islam called both. I have always wondered if there is a difference. Surely, someone must know.

  • Was I wrong to resent my husband for talking too long to this woman?

My husband went out last night to run a couple of errands which shouldn't have taken more than 45 min at the most. When he wasn't home in 2 hrs I began to worry that perhaps he had an accident. When he got home I learned that he had run into a casual aquaintance of ours, a younger sexy blonde whom we don't know that well, and had been talking with her an hr or more. I see nothing wrong with a few min. of conversation, but and hr, standing in the hot sun... I think that's too long and shows too much interest in her. He wouldn't have stayed that long if she had been a man. I might add he has a past. Am I wrong to feel resentful?

  • How far should forgiveness go?

I have a so called 'friend' who says mean things to others about my physical appearance (things I can't help) and other things behind my back and laughs at me. Once I stopped speaking to her for 3 mos, but I forgave her and took her back as a friend. Now she is doing the same things. I don't think she will ever stop and I no longer consider her my friend. How many times should I be expected to forgive? I want to put her out of my life for good. Am I wrong?

  • What would you do if a man stood way too close to you in line?

I was in line at the supermarket when a man right behind me stood so close I could actually feel his breath on my neck and his hand touched my back. I would keep moving up and he would follow. My temper flared and I turned and said, "Back off!" He looked very surprised, but he did back off. Was it rude of me to snap at him?

  • Is my friend's husband weird or do many men do this?

My friend and I were discussing our husbands strange habits. She told me her husband sits down on the toilet to urinate. I thought this was very strange, but she says lots of men do this. What do you think?

  • Should I feel guilty for resenting my mother for this?

I am in my 40's and my mother died last yr. I loved her in spite of the fact that she came from a trouble making, trouble loving, gossping family and she was one of the worst of them. If one got mad at the other, they would call the rest of the family, trying to get them on their side, even if they had to lie. Now I'm finding out that my mother told tales about me that were either half truths, one sided or outright lies. Now, some of my relatives (on her side) have an attitude towards me and are telling each other the lies my mother told them, making it seem like I mistreated my mother. Nothing could be further from the truth. I think it's so unfair of a person to spread gossip and more so for others to take sides when they only know one side of the story. If I were to start telling them my side, I would look bad for saying things about my mother, which I refuse to do. So, I'm left with being on the outs with most of my extended family.

  • My "friend" was video taping me without my knowledge. Should I be angry?

My husband and I were riding in front seat of our car and my female "friend" was in the backseat sneakily videotaping us. I just happened to turn around and caught her. She tried to hide the camera in her coat, but I saw it. She knows I hate the sound of my voice on tape and would never have consented to being video taped, especially with no warning. My husband didn't like it either, but wasn't as angry as I was. I just hate a sneak. Was I wrong to be angry? I feel I can't trust her anymore.

Someone wrote in that her husband had been tapping her phone. How did he do this and how can one find out if they're being "listened to"?

  • If I'm wrong, how do I get over him?

If I decide to try again with my husband, but I love someone else, how do I get over him? Some people on here have clicked their judgemental tongues and said, "Jesus is going to get you" or "go to counseling". How easy for them to say. How do I keep from feeling my heart is tearing out? Have none of you ever loved someone with all your heart? Someone you're not supposed to? Only those who have will know how I feel. I'm not a bad person. I can't help feeling love. So tell me. How do I get over him? Do I have any friends on here? I'm alone and I need help. I'm sinking.

  • Why are we still importing food & drugs from China?

Why are we trading with them at all? I read that over 80% of 'tainted' goods here have come from China. So, why don't we just cut them off?

  • Do you find Japanese men the most attractive of all the Asian men?

I never used to find Asian men appealing at all. But I think the modern Japanese man is usually very attractive. I've seen a lot of them in movies and reality. I find them rather sexy looking now that they're looking a little more westernized. Just my personal opinion. What do you think girls? I wonder if American women appleal to them. How about it guys?

  • What do Jews believe in ? What are they taught?

I'm told that Jews don't believe in an after life. I know they worship at temple, but what do they worship? And if there's no afterlife, what keeps them from doing bad things if they don't have to worry about retribution? This is in no way a critisism. I'm truly interested. I would like to hear from Jews on this, since they would know. Thank you.

  • Would people on here rather answer questions about scandal and sex than serious questions?

Seems to me the 'tabloid' type of questions get more answers. Those and questions that rile people, as in race, politics and religion.

  • Do more Americans need to train for 'blue collar' jobs?

It seems these days people are expected to go to college. But, many fail at it and I think more people need to train for the 'trades'. We need electricians, plumbers, car mechanics, and any number of 'blue collar' jobs. Companies are hiring too many illegal immigrants, who are untrained and incompetant. The media should start a campaign to attract Americans to train for these jobs. TV networks could start talking about this insead of spending most of their time trying to brainwash us against the Republican Party.

  • What exactly is meant by "working class"?

Does it mean blue collar workers? And why do so many seem to be sneering when they say it? Isn't anyone who does an honest day's work a person to be respected?
