I just bought a new laptop and it came with Vista (which Im not used to yet) and I cant seem to figure out if my webcam can be used with Yahoo Messenger on a Vista system. Are there different versions of Messenger using Vista? Any help would be appreciated!

Im trying to connect with someone in the Philippines. The other person has no problems receiving my feed but when I try to download theirs, I get "cam not available"or get about two seconds of feed then a black screen. Communication is through Yahoo Messenger... Any suggestions??

I have tried the calling card I use domestically but when I call the philippines, I can never get through, have a lousy connection or some random recording telling me why I cant reach the party I'm calling......
