My friend's husband wants to divorce her because she is christian and wont convert to Islam. My question is why did he marry her in the beggining, unless he had the intentions of converting her that he never made clear until after the marriage, he used to tell her Muslims can marry Jews/christians as long as they are serious in their religion, now he changed his mind..She feels like he is pushing his religion on her...

So muslims is that fair for him to do that now???

So i applied for a school loan through "mefa" and i kind of streched the truth :( on the application i said i had a job, coz 4 me to ge the loan i had to have one, so now they need my previous 2 pay stabs and or tax forms, yikes!!, Is there anythin else i can use as "income verification" besides a non existant pay stab/tax return form???????

I was watching Oprah yesterday and they were having a discusion on Rap music and the degrading lyrics they use. Some people were saying rappers need to stop calling females b i t c h e s and h o e s, because they are roll modells and the kids are going to imitate that language. Old school rap music like RUNDMC never used deregotive lyrics and they were still good.. There is rappers like Born Thugs and Harmony and Common who use "clean" language yet still make great music if not better than rappers like 50 cent, do you agree??So I was wondering what do you think of rap music that uses degrading lyrics, whose fault is it? The music Industry's Executives??The rappers??or the parents who dont make sure their own kids are being protected from such language??..And does anyone else find most rap music's lyrics offensive??..

My period usually lasts for 4 or 5 days but today is my 7th day and i still have it, its not heavy at all, its not even showing on a pad or anything, i only notice the blood when i wipe with a tissue, it just wont go away, is this normal???.

Hey im trying to gain some weight im 5'3 and 106 pounds, so I came across some article that said flax seed helps with weight gain, im not sure if this is true..So does anyone know if it really does?? or anything else i can take to help me gain weight besides eating more coz i already do that...?

Im not against having our own tv channel but i've now come across a lot of black ppl like myself who wont watch BET anymore because of the way it potrays african americans. Like some of the shows and the ppl really live up to the stereotype that is placed on black ppl. I heard there is a Channel One that is a more positive look on the black community than BET is, but unfortunately I dont get that where I live. BET is also now owned by the same company as MTV and VH1, so that makes me wonder who really is in controll of BET..is it still the blacks as they would make ppl think or its someone who has no idea what it means to be black? :)

Im 20 and my b/f is 26, the problem is everytime i can't see him he gets really mad at me and sometimes we even break up over the fact that I cant see him everyday and even though I think I see him enough times, its just that I dont want to spend all my time with him.
