If you go to your GP regarding a health issue and they request a whole range of blood tests for you as noone knows whats going on, what are they generally for? I know thyroid and liver were included, but I don't know what else? I am going back to my GP in a few days but just thought I would pose the question here in the mean time as I would like to do some of my own research. Would they test hormone levels?

Hi, the past few days my lap top will work for about 4-8 min and then everything freezes. I try to reboot by ctl-alt-dlt - sometimes it will allow me to get to the task manager and then freeze but then other times it just gets completely stuck. My lap top will freeze no matter what I am doing, whether I am on the internet or just looking at pictures. Once a blue screen came up stating that the problem was caused by my raid controller and asked me to go to the intel website to download and install it.

Anyways - my question is - do u think it is a problem with my raid controller, and if so, how will I download it if my computer freezes after 4 min?!?!? If this helps, I have an Inspiron Dell with Windows Vista. What should I be doing to fix this?

If anyone has any advice or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I am a complete IT novice - so please don't use too much jargon and be kind re my complete lack of computer knowledge :).

Hi, I have been told that I have too much sugar in my body and need to basically not eat it - I have a major sweet tooth and am very uncreative when it comes to ideas for cooking meals. Could anyone give me some suggestions/ideas/recipes for meals/desserts with no sugar??

I am going to Russia - St Petersburg to Moscow Dec/Jan and need to know what clothes to bring. Obviously warm clothes, but would 'normal' UK winter clothes suffice? Is it better to have numerous layers or just one good jumper and good coat?

Nadia Coote who plays Penny - was apprently in Home and Away. I'm desperate to know which character she played. Was it the girl that was part of the cult and got married to that guy with glasses when they were really young??? Or is that someone completely different. She looks so familiar it's doing my head in!

Can anyone recommend a good foundation? I get the odd spot every now again, but generally skin is ok. It can get a bit dry and sensitive, especially in winter when I don't get much sun. I would just like something to give me even coverage, natural looking whilst hiding all those imperfections... Thanks!

I am a massive lost fan but I'm starting to feel a little.... lost! I still love it though!

I recently broke up with my long-term partner (it was my decision and it had been coming for a while). He has since gone back to his ex-girlfriend before me within a matter of weeks. I don't want him back but am very angry that he did this. Why would he do this? Also, he doesn't know that I know, so do u think I should tell him? He wants to stay friends, and I would have liked to, as he is like my bestfriend, but this makes it a bit weird...
