I have been thinking about purchasing The Beatles: Rock Band, though regular Rock Band and Guitar Hero seem like good runners-up. However, information on the internet has been eluding me. Firstly, how much do each of the three cost, excluding instruments? Secondly, which come with instruments, and how many? Thirdly, do they all have single-player modes? Lastly, in your opinion, which is most fun?

I'm interested in learning to play Dungeons and Dragons this summer. I have a few friends who are also interested, but none of us have ever played. Firstly, what will we need (in terms of books, etc.) to play? Also, are the miniatures necessary? Lastly, how many people are required? Can you have a party of 2, plus the DM, or do you need, say 4 adventurers?
