Having second thoughts?

My two friends (we are ages 18-19) and I were talking the other night about how we want to move to California (we currently live allll the way in Maine)

anyway, we pretty much decided YES on it..and the more I think about it..I have second thoughts. My family lives in Maine (who I am close to...and I have two nephews and 2 nieces)...I would miss them so much. I know that it's a whole different lifestyle and it would be a huge culture shock but it's something I've always wanted to do. I've never been..which I know is stupid..but Cali has everything! You'd understand how I felt if you lived in Maine. Sometimes I feel really excited and happy about it..but then other times I feel like crying because of how I'd miss my family.

I don't know what to do!

Is California worth it?
