Why do people say that once saved always saved? As though that's it. They just get saved and go on about there lives or something. The bible makes it clear that we have to become doers of the word, and not hearers only. James 1:22. That means proving yourself faithful til death. Following and obeying Gods commands every single day. Even the command to preach. Matthew 28:19,20. Matthew 24:13. James 2:14,26 says faith without works is dead. Also many in the bible who at one point put faith in Jesus, then did things that were bad, were not always saved. They lost there salvation. So just because someone gets saved, it dosnt make sense that there always saved. The bible says we have to keep working out our salvation. Philippians 2:12. So that means we could lose it at any time. Hebrews 10:26,27.
