  • Speed of light question?

    2 observations.

    A. CMD is constant throughout the universe of >30Bn light years across

    B. Galaxies all have similar features showing similar ages. There is no lookback time. The universe appears to us in almost current time.

I have 8 hypotheses to explain these observations. Which are your top 3 and why?

    1. Light accelerated by gravity towards the universe's centre, where the milky way resides.

    2. Light brought on the back of gravity waves (carrier waves) at 1,000,000,000 x C

    3. Light travels back in time on its journey. A recent secular discovery that needs more research. (Cause or effect?)

    4. Light is instant towards us but 1/2 x C away from us. Jason Lisle's ASC idea.

    5. Light is slowing over time. E=mC2. C= terminal speed of light. Norman & Setterfield hypothesis. Today we are nearing the terminal velocity.

    6. Stretched space #1. Inbetween galaxies, space has stretch millions of times. 1 C is now 1,000,000xC in distance. Hypothesis-it still takes 1 year for light.

    7. Gravitational time dilation. Hartnett and Humphreys GTD models assume a finite universe (Biblical) Earth was in a gravity well on day 4 of creation.

    8. Stretched space #2. Like an elastic band, waves travel faster the longer a band is stretched. Stretch 1 light year by 100 fold and C turns into 10,000 x C (100 x 100) across that distance.

Are you as surprised as me at the inability of students of scientific majors in USA to answer basic questions concerning the great debate?
