People that believe in god seem to think that everything in their life that is good happens because of him. I always hear people say that they didn't die in a car accident because of god or they could walk after a leg injury after the doctor said they couldn't because of god. They don't credit themselves for the hard work and effort they put into stuff. If you get your legs crushed and just lie in bed praying to god to walk you never will but if you get up everyday little by little and try you absolute hardest you might walk. I just don't understand how they pat god on the back before themselves. Why?

Everyone talks about how Jesus suffered and died for all of us. You know how many dads jump in front of their children to save them from stuff. All he did was get hung on a cross he died in 3 hours that isn't that much suffering. What about the Jews in the concentration camps they went though more suffering or the people that got caught trying to help them they were put though more suffering. Their are a lot of people that suffered and died for other people some a lot more than Jesus why does everyone think he is so special? He didn't even do it voluntarily he got captured.

How can you put anything above your family. Even if god was real he isn't your family he didn't carry you for 9 months he has never carried you. This is beyond belief it is unhealthy to put things before your parents or husband/wife or even your children. The question is why would you put something over the people that protected you raised you feed you clothed you and everything else you needed and you put a thing that hasn't done anything in front of them. About how we turn people away from the US and how we can't smoke a cigarette on the streets of some cities, or how we have to take drug tests when we work so they know what we do at home. Even how we have to go to school until your 18 or how you have to were a seat belt in a car. How the government tells businesses how much they have to give there employees.
