I have noticed that I have lost far eyesight in one eye and also significant hearing loss in the ear located on the same side of my head. along with the hearing loss I have an odd feeling in that ear from time to time. Like like an insect running circles around my ear canal. it does get bothersome and itches to no end. but the felling never lasts more than 30 min. at a time. any ideas?

Oh, yea this started a few month ago while I was in Iraq.

I realize that there is no substitute for proper fitting ear plugs however there are times when the noise is so intermittent a finger to the ear is more practical. But just what is the dB reduction of this action?

Our household recently got switched over to Direct tv.(supplied by our landlord) the line comes to our house through a multiplexer? to bring the satellite and cable Internet access on one line. The satellite receiver and TV are plugged into the same powerstrip. We've noticed a signal interference problem when certain electrical items turn on. Space heater, Dishwasher, microwave, spin cycle on the washer. I tried running an extension cord from an upstairs receptacle to power the direct tv transceiver. But it had no effect. I tried checking the signal strength of the satellite during the problem and found transponders # 4,12,20, and 28 would drop to 0 or close to it. We even switched out the transceiver with the landlord unit but the problem seem to be isolated to this house. Any suggestions on what to try next?

I thought I saw in a comercial this past week for an computer interface that allows a child to pick a carecter statue and place it into a holder and it will automatically open a web page that the child could play on. with the great feature of not letting the child navigate away from that web page.

My 8th grade math teacher showed our class a simple formula that allowed you to use the dots on the side and top/bottom rails with the pockets. and with simple addition and subtraction allow you to put the cue anywhere on the table, providing you hit the ball strait and at the proper speed. This formula she showed us also didn't include any geomety angles and degrees in the caculations. so has anyone seen this also and could explain it to me one more time.
