  • When would you classify an Available-For-Sale security as current?

I realize that AFS securities can be classified as either noncurrent or current assets (noncurrent probably being more common) and that the classification depends on management's intent. Can anyone give me an example of when an AFS security would be classified as current?

    Thanks!

  • How to gain some muscle while being a swimmer?

I am a college swimmer who lifts weights 3 days per week; I have a back/shoulders day, biceps/triceps day, and a chest/legs day. I do plenty of abs at my swim practices. I have a small frame/build - 5'8" around 140 lb. Basically, I want to see better results from my lifting. Does anyone have any advice on how to gain muscle while using up so much energy for swimming? Any good routines would be helpful. I should probably change up my workouts anyway; they've been the same for a few months.

    Back/shoulder day:

    Lat pulldowns, 3x12, 120 lb

    Seated rows, 3x12, 110 lb

Lower back raises, 3x12, holding 25 lb

Military Press, 3x12, 35 lb dumbells

Shoulder raises, 3x12, 15 lb dumbells

    Shrugs, 3x15, 45 lb plates

    Biceps/Triceps:

Dumbell curls, 4x16,12,12,8 (per arm), 15 lb, 25 lb, 25 lb, 30 lb

    Sevens w/bar, 3 rounds, 40 lb

Hammer curls, 3x12 (per arm), 30 lb

Tricep pulldown (not sure about weight because some of the pulleys at the gym are different; pretty weird)

Tricep extensions lying down, 3x8 per arm, 25 lb per arm

    Skull crusher, 3x8, 60 lb

    Sometimes do dips

    Chest/abs:

Bench press, 3x8, 135 lb (2x45 lb plates)

Incline DB bench, 3x10 per arm, 50 lb per arm

Decline DB Bench, 3x10 per arm, 40 lb per arm

Chest Fly machine, 3x12, 120 lb

Calf raises, 3x16 per leg, holding 25 lb DB

Leg Press machine, 3x12, 270 lb (6x45 lb plates)
