I was fired from an automaker in Kentucky (which is an at-will state), I was a temp there and I had a coworker that was accused by a manager in the Human Resources department of speeding. The manager had no speed radar device and despite the six witnesses contacted none of them to verify this allegation. So I went home that night and proved with a scientific equation that is was physically impossible for him to have traveled at the accused speed. I wrote it out in a well organized report which used no names (it was mostly numbers) in hopes that it would aid the investigation they were supposed to conduct to determine whether or not to fire my coworker. Within five minutes of delivering the report to HR I received a call from the Temp agency saying that my own contract had been fired.

Is this possible to fight this? Even in at-will states workers have the right to complain about work-place issues and not be fired. If you have any professional advice please let me know your thoughts.

Okay, my school has a software called impero that is very very good at stopping people from doing anything constructive or fun at all. Its a network based software and has a feature that allows an administrator to view your monitor at will and take control of your PC and automatically block any application or web-page with a specified phrase (Facebook, AIM, Halo). i have found ways to disconnect my computer from the network, but that is at the cost of connecting to the internet at all! So how do you delete, manage, or bypass impero. Note: I always get my work done and i have straight "A"s

When I used redsn0W, my iPod wouldn't reboot! I am on a mac, but i do have windows capabilities if needed.
