He says by wearing an American Flag Pin on his suit he would be demonstrating support for the IRAQ war. I contend that this type of thinking, automatically disqualifies him from being a real contender for President. We have troops in combat, in harm's way. Wear it to honor them. One's love for your country should have nothing to do with disagreeing with an official policy. The American flag should be above politics or partisanship. Do you disagree?

I have scads of VHS tapes I want to convert to DVD. So Far, it's just been a frustration. I have Studio 8 and a Dazzle 80 and the program is simply unusable. I have a plenty powerful computer with lots of storage space to bring the media into my harddrive. Any recommendations on a program or hardware to get to make this easy? I am considering Pinnacle 11 with the movie box digital convertor (takes analog video, plus 2 track audio and converts it to USB signal into the computer. Open to another method or program. I do have a tuner card I can install, how would I handle the audio?.

ok somehow i managed to paste a yahoo log on shortcut on to my desktop. It actually looks like a small log on screen that been minimized rather than a thumbnail. It does not show up in my list of icons in my desktop. I cannot move it, nor can I resize it. It just sits there in the upper left corner of my desktop. There is no means to delete it using context and delete like other icons. I want it gone..anyone come across this? I was trying to paste a shortcut to a yahoo group on the desktop at the time this happened.

I've personnally never had a $400.00 haircut like Mr Edwards..I resent him thinking he speaks for me. I am solid Middle class who pays $11.00 for a haircut and tips $5.00 on top of that. How do you plan around equipment failures, power grid downtime, internet connection downages, etc?

When I was a child in California in the early 60's I remember a grisly killing that happened in the ski resort area of Squaw Valley. I think it was AFTER the 1960 Winter Olympics were held there so that might help fix the year (maybe 1961?). A single woman was killed and dismembered, and I think she was perhaps an ice skater or skier or instructor. Does anyone remember this crime? I'm trying to find information on it.
