  • Arizona Driving Test Question?

I was wondering if it would be okay to allow a family, significant other, or friends to join me for the practice driving test?

How long does the driving test last?

How does the grading go? Can I only miss a certain amount, and if so, how many?

  • Could I report this to the EEOC?

I worked as a temporary worker at a company that recently fired me without explanation. If I filed a lawsuit with them would I be able to win. Here's what happened. I'm only putting first names.

    October 11, 2013

I went to the HR (Human Resources) to see Alison. I spoke with her about an incident that happened, which involved David and me. A customer on the phone asked to speak with a supervisor; I put the customer on hold and got a supervisor by the name of Kyle. I informed him of the situation and he took over the call. I stood on the left side of the chair facing the computer screen listening to Kyle speaking with the client. Moment later David came up from behind me and caressed by right arm up and down. I felt mortified, filthy, awkward, and uncomfortable. This happened between 1-2:00pm in the afternoon. I also have informed her that David has been purposely been giving me low scores on my audits as an excuse for me to be around him or get me fired, since other supervisors that I’ve had always gave me high scores. Alison informed me that she will tell her boss and manager of the incident to get it resolved.

    October 14, 2013

I spoke with Alison and the manager Brian approximately around 10:00 am. The manager has informed me that he has given me and new supervisor and informed me that David will no longer be taking any of my audits. I was satisfied with the progress that they made to help me feel safe and comfortable while working. I did give their attempt a chance.

    October 16, 2013

In the morning Brian informed all the employees that Verizon Wireless ask us to work either Saturday or Sunday. I informed him that I have to study for my exams, permit, and also had to inform my parents of the change. I informed him that I’ll discuss a schedule change tomorrow, he said okay to it and then I went back to work. Roughly around 2 hours later he informed me that I needed to change my schedule today, in a rude tone. I changed it accordingly, in fear of losing my job.

    October 17, 2013

I informed Brain that I have discussed it with family, and thought about studying for my entrance exams for college and told him that I would need to change my working hours of full-time to part-time. He said it was okay with it; I also informed him that I was willing to work on Saturdays since I’ll only being working part-time, but he chose not to have me work on Saturdays.

    October 21, 2013

I arrived to work 2 hours before my shift was supposed to start. I arrived at 8:42am when my shift actually starts at 10:00am. At 9:42am I was called into Alison’s office, by supervisor Wendy. I went inside the office and Brain informed me that I was terminated from the job with the following reason; low job performance, even though from more than half of the supervisors there said I was doing and good job and met expectations. I always either had a scored between 28-30 and from what my trainer, Eric, informed me that, that was a very good score to have. Brain never explained to me the reason of my poor job performance and what I was lacking at work that made him think of such.

Tell me what you think of this potential case.

  • Investing In Stocks problem?

Bruce Sower purchased 100 shares of a computer company stock at $44.41 per share. He also purchased 600 shares of a second company’s stock at $19.08 per share. Bruce’s online broker charges $0.04 per share. To the nearest cent, what is the total cost of the stock including the commission?

I got so many different answers for this! First I got 15,889, 15,88904, then 15,889.08. I don't know if I'm messing up somewhere in the problem or I add, subtracted, or multiplied wrong.

    Formulas I have used:

Find the cost of the stock.

Number of Shares * Cost Per share = Cost of Stock

    Find the total paid.

Cost of Stock + Commission = Total Paid.

Can you guys help on how to get the correct answer!?
