  • Can you eat udis pizza crust if your eating paleo?

I'm doing paleo. I've been doing it since July 26th. I've lost 69 pounds. I recently came across a pizza crust at a naturals foods market. Its wheat free soy free gluten free dairy free. Free of everything that can not be eaten on the paleo diet. If anyone is doing paleo or knows anything about paleo do you think it's ok to eat it? I know there are several paleo pizza crust recipes I can make myself, but it's just so much easier when it's already made.

  • Do you bathe the kids of the same gender together or separately.?

On Friday I'll be watching the usual kids I nanny for, only this time her friend will be sleeping over. So I'll be picking them both up from school. The little girl I nanny for has a little brother so obviously I bathe them separately, but it should be fine to bathe the girls together right.? Theyre 6.

I know when I have my godchild(8) and my cousin (7) overnight or after the pool, I let them shower or bathe together because they ask and their both girls. Doesn't matter. And their fam so it's fine.

I'm just thinking of how long 3 baths will take LOL because they can't bathe themselves. So I'm thinking knock the brother out the way first, and then the girls. Separate or alone.? Or should I just ask them do they want to get in together or separate.?

  • Do you wash your hair in the shower or sink.?

I read a couple of these questions and for the people that wash their hair in the sink I saw comments like "omg when is the last time you took a shower" just because you wash your hair in the sink doesn't mean you don't shower LOL wtf. I grew up with my mom washing my hair in the sink, doesn't mean I didn't bathe. I personally wash my hair in the sink presently, it's easier and shampoo doesn't get in your eyes LOL and I take a shower EVERYDAY.! Also I read some questions asking when should a child be able to wash their hair. I think that depends on race and age. Some people would say 3 years, others 5. If you have courser hair your not going to be able to wash your hair by yourself at no 5 years old or even 12.! Depending on thickness. Im a nanny for a 6 yr old caucasian girl and when I have to give her a shower it's SUPER easy to wash her hair because the texture is different so I see how some people say like 8 or so. But I just wanted to make a point LOL

  • How often do you bathe your kids?

Im a nanny. My last question touched based on how the little girl (6) doesn't get a bath on the regular, nor a proper bath. So she used to complain about her private area, at times it would be really red. I automatically knew it was from not bathing, changing panties, or a proper bath. When mom gets around to bathing which isn't often, she will put her in the tub, wash her hair and let her play in that dirty water and dirty shampoo which was rinsed from her hair. She never washes her body. I was a fulltime nanny for them in the summer so I made sure she was bathed every day. I introduced her to showers. The entire summer mom never gave her a bath. So if it wasn't for me coming m-f she just would have been dirty. So she basically had a shower m-f and on weekends when I wasn't there she didn't have a bath. Often had same hairstyles I did on Friday. So now I'm only partime since school has started. So I give her a shower on the days I'm there twth. And there's been several times hair has still been in on the following tues. I dnt understand why mom doesnt bathe her regulary and when she does bathe her I dnt understand why she feels only the hair should be washed. Thts crazy. I feel bad for the girl. Mom gets in the shower everyday.! I feel like it's my job to just step in where mom lacks, wht would you do in the situation.? I tell the little girl to tell her mom to wash her up and if she doesn't want to, tell her to soap up the washcloth( I leave soap and a washcloth for her). She's not great at washing by herself but it would atleast count you knw.? I can't blame her because she's the child. She's prob thinking if mom isn't washing her up then why ask her to. And I ask her like why didn't you tell her and she says im better at showers than mom LOL. I just feel hygiene is very important ESP little girls. She doesn't wipe properly like the majority. Panties look a mess(stained) there's been times she had the same panties on 4 days later. What do you think.?

  • Transitioning from relaxed to natural hair.?

Ok so I'm transitioning from relaxed to natural. My last relaxer was sept 16th of this year :(. But I'm excited about going natural.! :D. So if anyone could answer my questions and give me some tips that would be great.!

I did alot of research, watched alot of YouTube videos of transitioners LOL and pretty much all of them said to "treat your hair like it's natural" no flat ironing or blow drying. I also remember one of them saying if you keep flat ironing the new growth, you will completely mess up your curl pattern. That's exactt what I don't want to do. My cousin is natural and she did that because she wants to wear her hair straight. I actually want my naturally curly hair. So today i went to the shop and got a roller set. Since flat ironing and blow drying is out of the picture, I wanted to know if sit under dryers are good for transitioning.? My hair isn't at the length where braid outs or twist outs would look good, so I figured I would just get roller sets for transitioning. Will a sit under dryer mess up my curl pattern.? I know alot of people say braids are good transitioning styles. But, wouldn't braids be damaging.? I've had them before and they pull out your edges etc. So how are braids with extensions good for transitioning.?

    Thanks in advanced.

  • 6 year old booster seat.?

Basically I'm a nanny. I babysit. All of the above pretty much LOL. My question is should a 6 year old have the back of the booster seat attached still.? I feel like I see other kids their age with the back attached to the booster seat. Sometimes I babysit kids younger who are bigger and they still have the back to the booster seat. Now ik the rule is "children under 4'9" should be in a booster seat. What is the rule for the back of the booster seat.? Just when they grow out of it or what.? Also i read somewhere online where it said kids need a booster seat until they are 4'9 or 8 years old. So what about the 8year olds who are under 4'9. Which one is it.? I just want to make sure I have the right seats.

  • Braces coming off early.?

So I've had braces for two months now. I had them tightened for the first time yesterday. They also instructed me to wear rubberbands :( two triangles one on each side 24/7 when I sleep I have to wear one rubberband across my front teeth top and bottom sort of like a square. I've read where it says rubberbands are given when treatment is almost over so do you think after this my braces will come off soon.? I have the Damon braces and I knw they're supposed to work faster.

  • Is this normal with braces.?

Ive had braces for about a month now. I dont get them tightened for the first time until June 8th. What i was wondering is, is it normal for some teeth to hurt, or be a little sensitive one week and the next week different teeth to be a little sensitive.??

  • 6 year old complaining of pain on her private area?

Ok, so I'm a nanny/babysitter. I nanny for a 6yr old little girl. I'm very close with the family, they love me. The only thing, is they don't bathe her regularly. I've read alot of forums where parents don't bathe their children that often, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This little girl does gymnastics three times a week, and ballet twice a week. This is how I look at it, she's rolling around on mats in gymnastics, that several other sweats kids with no socks have been on, and runs around at ballet and recess at school. They don't have nap time in kindergarten it's quiet time but they're on the floor etc, everyone knows kids stay sick from being in school around other children. She needs a bath regularly. It's to the point where I can smell her, I don't know any other 5/6 yr old girl who's private area smells. Also for the parents who read this, you know if you have younger children, they aren't wiping properly, which means you need to bathe them. So I make sure I bathe her when she's with me. I take her swimming when there's no school, so ofcourse I give her a bath after, I took her on Saturday, mom forgot panties so I picked some up, and three days later she still had the same ones on.! Mind you I kept the pack at my house. Once I babysat on a weekend night and she had diarrhea and I came and got her the next day for a bday party, when I took her to the bathroom before leaving the party, her panties were stained with poop. She told me it was from the day before because she didn't get to the bathroom on time. Which is fine but I'm like why would her mom send her to me like that. Like could she not smell that while getting her dressed.! I'm only 20, no kids but I'm sure actually positive I'll be great with my own. Parents should check those things. So know that you have background info here's the issue. While I was geting her ready for ballet, she told me her private area was chapped and bothering her. It was very red. She kept touching it and I'm asking her is she fine, is it bothering her etc and she said it hurt, idk what to do so I told her try not to mess with it and I tried to loosen her tights around that area. But I felt so bad for her. Do you think it's from not having a bath regularly.? I'll have her all next week, so I definitely will make sure she's clean, I read alot of forums how kids around that age well little girls complain of pain or itchiness down there and it's hard for them. Crying etc.

  • Getting braces this Thursday =\?

Ok so I already don't want them in my mouth because I feel like I waited too long. I'm 20 years old, none of my friends have braces I just feel like i will look like a teenager LOL but atleast my teeth will be straight as my sis says. I'm getting Damon braces put on, so atleast they are alot smaller than the traditional braces. What I need to know is should I do anything to prepare for getting them put on.? Will it hurt etc.? I knw won't be able to eat alot of foods after. I'm also a nanny, should I take meds before or after.? I would hate to feel like crap when dealing with the children. Thanks in advanced.!

  • Do I have dry socket.?

I got my wisdom teeth pulled out at the bottom about a month ago. On one side it's kind of a hole. I've looked up dry socket I've seen pics. It says you can see the bone food gets caught it stinks and leaves nasty taste. The hole in my mouth doesn't hurt. I can't see the bone however, food does get caught and when I get it out it does have a nasty taste. Do you guys think it's dry socket.? Should I just go get it checked.? I followed all of the rules as far as not spitting or sucking through a straw etc to avoid it. What should I do.?

  • Do you think I'll get the job.!??????

Ok so I put an ad up on craigslist for summer nanny. I've put ads up before about babysitting and I have so many kids I babysit now LOL I'm also on babysitting websites. So it's something I do. Like I have weekly nannying jobs for three different families constantly for the school year and then occasional babysitting jobs for like ten other families. I work in childcare so yea. Anywhooo someone replied to my ad and wants me to be their summer nanny I'm so excited, this is wht I wanted. So I met them today and ended up knowing the kids cause they go to my job LOL. So she asked me some stuff, told me wht a typical day would be. Which I'm not new to this so I'm prepared. So then she hit me with "I talked to one other person but I'm leaning more towards you" I thought she only talked to me LOL however the kids didn't want me to leave so she was like well they like you. Which is good and she said again she was leanin more towards me cause of where I work and I live close and I seem nice. She will let me knw so not I'm anticipating like I keep checking my email. What do you guys think.????

I'm such a homebody. I just don't have a life anymore and its so sad. I used to go out and have fun. Friends or should I say "friends" just become so fake. I don't have anyone to say like "hey let's go out" I have a bff she's stationed in the navy. I only have my sister and we dnt even hang like tht anymore even thgh she's the closest to me. I sit in the house on the weekends. Like I'm ready for school to start back up I'm so miserable. I babysit alot. And it's like I can't say no to them because I dnt have anything else to do. And I dnt even want to say no because it's getting me out of the house. It's like I work, workout and babysit. And do it all over again. I'm 20 years old I dnt knw why I dnt have any friends. It's like I got to school every semester but I never seem to make any friends. Like yea talk in class but not really outside of school. It's really sad :( I'm so miserable and I hate it.! Its like once my friends went off to college they forgot about me. Or the ones i had we just grew apart, no fights or anything. Idk wht to do. It's like I'm stuck in a downward spiral. Sigh

  • Will I stay in shape from this.?

Basically I lost alot of weight. But with work, school(day and night classes) babysitting last semester some weight has returned. :( now tht I'm on winter break I've decided I have all the time in the world to get the weight tht came back off and more. Tuesday I had my wisdom teeth surgery so this week I couldn't get to the gym however, I cnt eat anything but like applesauce and yogurt so I'm not worried about weight gain. So I'll be back in the gym Monday and next semester I signed up for kickboxing for fitness which is two days a week and hiphop which is once a week fir two hours. I figure I'm still gonna be babysitting and stuff so it would be best for me to add some fitness classes to my school schedule. Do you guys think I will be able to stay in shape tht way.? Also a extra non diet question I'll sneak in...if anyone has had wisdom teeth surgically removed, did you have cuts on the inside of your cheeks from the anesthesia beige injected.? If so how long will it take for them to heal.?

  • will my cartilage heal.?

I had my industrial piercing for about 2 months. I jus changed it about a week ago. Today when looking in the mirror cleaning it I could see it through the skin. There was a thin layer of skin covering it. I don't know how this happened it was not like that the day before. I decided to take it out because I figured if I kept it in it would eventually rip and the hole would have been split.! Im thinking when it was pierced it was not pierced far bac enough. Now I want to jus let it heal/close bac up and I actualy want to get it again. I want to know if my cartilage/skin will heal.? And would it be safe to get it again if it does heal. Maybe getting it pierced at a more slant that way it wouldn't be pierced in the exact same hole. Also what can I do to make it heal quicker.? Right now im putting peroxide on it.
