  • Kitten Question?

I have 2 kittens who are about 2 months old now - one boy & one girl.

Sometimes lately it seems like the boy kitten is trying to nurse off of his sister - is this normal?

The mother cat & other kittens were living here until about 3 weeks ago - could he just be having mommy seperation issues?

Just curious, cause it seems weird to me, lol.

  • Question - ultrasound & baby position?

At my 20 week ultrasound this past Tuesday the baby was breech. My question is - is it around 36 weeks to before delivery when they turn into their final position?

And if she remains breech then, will I definitely have to have a c-section? I'm not a first time mom, but I just forget, lol.

  • Throwing a surprise 50th birthday party?

..for my mother in law. We're thinking of doing a celestial theme since she's obsessed with astrology/moons & stars, etc. Anyone have any creative idea on what we can do for the food & drinks [ I would really like everything to go with the theme we've chosen]? Also, it will be a casual event, so anything too fancy won't do. Any suggestions are helpful, thanks :o)

  • Panic Attacks while Pregnant?

I'm pretty sure what I'm suffering from are Panic Attacks, & I'm pretty sure I've been suffering from them for a very long time. Before I even ask my question, just let me state that I have been diagnosed with Bipolar & severe depression and had been on medication for both before. (I stopped the medication a long time ago) I am planning on calling a counselor either tomorrow or Monday to make an appointment, because I feel that I have always had panic attacks but did not realize what they were. Anyways, is there any medications that they could prescribe me ( I am almost 19 weeks pregnant ), and does anyone have personal (or professional?) experience with this?

Because I am really starting to worry about my anxiety & the efects it could be having on my baby.

    :o(

Any & ALL help is much appreciated, serious / not RUDE answers please.

  • Night Terrors in a 2 year old?

Sometimes my (almost) 2 year old son wakes up screaming his head off in the middle of the night. It's not every night & it's not at any specific time (but usually between 1AM & 4AM), so is it possible he's just having nightmares? Do night terrors always happen at the same time & every night? This happens to him maybe, between 1-3 times a week (He will cry & cry until someone picks hims up & rocks him for a sec & then falls right back to sleep). Personal experience with night terrors or plain nightmares would be helpful as well. Thanks in advance.

  • Anyone have experience with Ear Tubes in toddlers?

My son, who will be 2 at the end of this month, has been seeing an ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) Doctor because he's had fluid in his ears for about 2 months+. He said that if my son's ear don't get any better (the fluid doesn't drain), he may have to have tubes put in. I've read about it online so I know the procedure & all but I want to know anyone's personal experience? He's been on antibiotics for 20 days & was prescribed another 2 week dose, and they seem to be getting better but we won't be sure until his next appointment.

-This all came about also because he doesn't seem to hear sometimes when I talk to him, and he doesn't talk very much or very well. (It's mostly babbling & words I can't understand) Could this just be a development problem, with the coincidence of having fluid in his ears? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

  • I have 3 close friends, which do I choose for maid of honor?

I'm planning my wedding which will take place next summer, it's not going to be a huge event but I would still like to incorporate all of my close friends. I have 3 pretty close friends & I have a feeling whoever I don't choose as my maid of honor will be mad at me. The other 2 will still be bridesmaids, so should I just pick according to who I've known the longest - they're all pretty close to me, so it's not a matter of who knows me best or whatever. I'm just not sure what to do, any help is appreciated!

  • Ultrasound Technicians, help please?

Anyone who is an ultrasound technician or studying to be one, any help is appreciated. I live in Pennsylvania & I'm not sure if you have to go to a 4 year (or more) college to study this or are there trade schools that offer this program? I would really like to specialize in obstetrics/gynecology but I can't find too much info on where to study or if there's even schools in my area. Personal experiences (what kind of school you went to & for how long, etc) would be very helpful. Thanks!

  • IUD Birth Control..?

I'm just curious has anyone gotten an IUD put in right after delivery or within the 6 week period before your check-up? Or do you know someone that has? The whole reason I'm pregnant right now is because I was supposed to have an IUD put in but they told me to wait until I had my period & they kept rescheduling my appointments. I'll probably ask my doctor but I don't see him for another few weeks, any input would be helpful!

  • My mother is convinced my son has development issues..?

My son will be turning 2 at the end of May & my mother is convinced he has development problems. I would just like some input. He doesn't talk in complete sentences, knows probably around 50 words or more, still does some "baby-bablling" (mixed up syllables and such). I don't think he's that behind because he does tell me what he wants, likes and dislikes - without really using words. So what should I do? My mom thinks I should have him evaluated, and his pediatrician hasn't said anything about him being behind. Am I just being paranoid?
