At random times, especially when I am under emotional stress, I get a shooting pain along the left side of my thigh, neck, and temple. It is very intense and causes me to convulse sometimes. I used to get it all the time when I was little, and over the past few months it has started happening quite frequently again. It just happens all of the sudden and then after a few seconds it will go away, and then come back again. It usually happens about 5 times in a row, getting less intense towards the end.

I have issues with restless leg syndrome and anxiety, if that helps at all.

A couple months ago, I purchased my terabyte HDD to replace my ancient 70GB IDE (By Seagate I think), which had the same version of Windows. When I received the new HDD, I partitioned it from within Windows on my old drive. Since my old drive was the C:\ drive, I assigned the new one to D:\ so that I could have both drives connected at once to transfer my files. It booted right up, BIOS detected both copies of XP and asked which one I would like to boot to. I selected the one from the SATA and everything runs great (in fact, I am using the SATA right now.)

That is alright and dandy, but the issue is that I still want to use my two IDE CD and DVD drives. When I disconnect the IDE HDD and try do boot from my SATA alone, BIOS spits out "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device". I'm really stuck here, and need my CD and DVD drives soon.

I have the SATA selected as my primary boot device, and each CD/DVD drive is jumpered to Cable Select. Do I have this problem because the drive is set to D:\ not C:\, or am I missing something completely?

so i got a TON of new hardware. AMD athlon II, Biostar a770e3 mobo, sapphire ati radeon 4650, kingston RAM 1GB. I installed all the stuff, no problem. BIOS is fine. I tried a repair install according to: http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm I got through to the step where it says "do NOT press any key to boot from CD" so i don't, and it prints a bunch of periods and then it says "failed to load operating system" like this:

Press any key to boot from CD............ Failed to load operating system.

PLEASE HELP!

in the system specifications it says that a 400W PSU is recommended. I find that to be outrageous. I need to know if I can run it with a 250W PSU. I've been to several tech forums for an (almost) identical card and say that I can:

I'm thinking of upgrading my motherboard (for an AGP slot and USB 2.0, my current one only has regular old PCI and USB) but my question is, the processor that I have now (2.4gHz celeron) has an FSB at 400MHz, and the mobo i want runs its FSB at 800/533MHz. I am extremely computer savvy, however, I have never heard about FSB, so feel free to educate me.

i have had this problem once before, and restarting my router and modem fixed this, but this time it didn't. I've googled the issue but the funny thing is that my xbox can connect but no other devices can. the way i have it set up is that I have one computer connected by a wire, a laptop with built in wireless, another desktop with a usb adapter, and a zune hd. I think that the adapter for the xbox might provide a hint though: i bought an offbrand adapter for it, where you connect it to a computer and the computer detects the network, and puts the sittings on it. it then connects to the xbox through an ethernet cable so the xbox thinks its a wired connection. so, lets hear your ideas :)

OK, i was having my uncle's birthday party at my house, and my second cousin (2 years old) was there. When it was time for him to leave, he was throwing a tantrum. So, I asked his mom and she said that I could give him a toy car to calm him down. I plunged my hand into my box of cars and gave him the first one i touched. then, as he was walking out the door, I noticed it was my favorite silver truck that I played with all the time. I am feeling kind of bummed out, and it kind of feels like I won't ever get over it. Will I?

I usually use background images to use as models to make my renders with, but every now and then, I do something and it goes away! (I think it happens when render it, or remove a camera) it shows up in the render, then is never seen from again! Even if I render it a second time it STILL isn't there! I really need this to get fixed, because my projects are at a halt at this point.

I already have a super-duper high metabolism from a genetic disorder, and I really need to know if I get it too high, can I harm my body? or will it not raise it so much since it is already so high?

I already patched my windows network, but people are telling me that I should patch flash and java too... do I need to?

I learned how to say things by hitting a key on CoD1 by saying /bind 1 or whatever from this really cool guy. But i was not thinking and bound my sentence to 1. then I unbound it, not thinking again, and now I cant switch to my primary weapon! I know what you are going to tell me. "all you need to do is use your scroll wheel!" yeah, but I am used to using my numbers and using my wheel is out of the way for me, and I would really like to have my numbers back please!

I don't want ANY Pokemon games, as they are stupid. All I want is an online game with the same principles, that need no downloads.

I mean things like pins and whatnot.

I am going to invest in some new RAM memory for my computer. I found a cheap stick online with free shipping, but I need to know if its worth buying.

The story goes like this, I am on MY computer, and my sister is on HER computer, and all of the sudden my sister says, HEY! gaia is just text! The next thing I know, I go to a different page on gaia, and it happens to me!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR! I have been working on the problem for ages, and I have it narrowed down to javascript errors throughout the page. I have gone to customer support and everything, but I haven't found one email yet! O_o this makes me ANGRY!!!!!!! Can someone please tell me where to go?

I seem to have the worst luck in buying game programs. just about every - other game I buy has a problem!!!!

OK, soooooo, I get the game MECH WARRIOR 2, and I install it on my Windows XP Professional (using win. 95 compatibility to allow it to run) without any problems. But when I RUN the game, it runs the menu screen where it says "play Mech Warrior 2" and a couple of other options. I click on the play button, and the screen goes blank (like it usually does when running a game) but when the screen turns on again, nothing happens! I tried using dosbox, but even when I use the last level of CD ROM support it says "cannot be run in dos mode" (or at least thats the jist of it)

I recently installed a DVD-ROM drive in my computer.

It works great, but the problem is the CD-RW/R I had first.

When I go to "My computer" it displays all my drives such as my hard drive and DVD-ROM drive, but my CD drive is not there!

I'm usually good with these kinds of things, but nothing seems to help!!!!!
