For the past couple days, I have not been wearing a jacket in the mornings (25-40*F), mainly because I have been running late and did not have time to grab one on the way out and other reasons.

Anyway, this morning I did grab a jacket, but it was a thin one; especially cold today.

After writing one of my finals today, i felt pain on one of my fingers. I looked and saw that it had swelled.

Not sure if it happened the night before or any reason for it to possibly occur.

So, I went to my school nurse and explained to her how I wasn't sure what may have caused the swelling.

She gave me a bag of ice to see if it will reduce the swelling. I kept the ice 30min on 15-20min off.

It hurt so bad, but having never done ice treatment I endured the pain.

Well after coming home, i did some research and the symptoms of chilblain/pernio fit very well.

Which then made me realize that the ice, was a big no no. It was the exact opposite of what I should have done.

I have been trying to keep it warm now.

I'm curious about what will happen though. I know the ice was a bad choice, but will it make it severely worse?

I am looking for a list of colleges that read an application of an undocumented like a domestic applicant not an international student. Undocumented student residing in the US. Applying internationally would be much more competitive, especially for financial aid.

This has become a concern to me, as one day i was told that not all colleges read an application the same way between domestic and international. Because of this my very nicely arranged college list to apply to has been altered dramatically!

I have only read about Oberlin and Pomona doing this, and i would like to know of more colleges that do so.

Please help me increase my options!

Okay so i just got this phone, since my old one broke (well just the screen won't turn on).

Anyway, i put in my old sd card rom my old phone in, i added contacts and stuff, and began texting a friend. Thats all ive done.

Then suddenly like 20 minutes later, it continuously keeps shutting down and restarting, like i can't even enter my phone anyway, when i unlock it the screen turns blank and shuts down. It if fully charged too.

Like this isn't funny at all, its frustrating me since it keeps shutting down and i can't anything about it. I was so happy to finally have a phone again, then this happens and im like about to cry with this whole thing.

Whats wrong with my phone? whats going on with my phone? Why does it keep restarting??!

We were at school during lunch. We always wait for he majority of people to leave the cafe before going though. There were 4 of us. All female.

After awhile my Friend and this other friend went ahead to check, that left me and my other friend alone. It's gotten kind of awkward nowadays with her :/

well anyway wont get into that story lol...

They came back rather quickly. My other friend that went with my Friend came back and was asking, "Have any of you asked my to go to the nurse to get pads for you guyes?" repeating the question so that only we could hear it. Then soon that led to my Friend being the one to ask her originally about that. So then i brought up that i was carrying one with me for cases like these. One of my friends (awkward silence friend) sort of yelled for me to give her it lol

So we walked off to this restroom thats kind of in the dark near some staircases that not many people seem to use. I was comforting her, about her forgetting them.

So then we reached the restroom. No one was inside.

She thanked me, then i gave her the thing. Then we hugged...

Our heads were facing the same direction vertically, so i moved my head to the other side so it wouldnt be awkward, but then she also did that... so i tried to move my head to be back in the original position... our faces were right in each others (i know i blushed a bit), like the only thing separating us from each other were our bangs (hair). it was awkward for the first couple seconds. But then we awkwardly laughed it off, and said "that never happened okay ehahah aha--~"

I walked out of the restroom, but first i looked in the mirror and my face was blushing >.< ahh!

No the matter i still walked out, covering my face with my hair and hands (it was quite breezy and cold, cloudy)

I went back to our little group. I tried not to act like something happened.

Then she came back, and when i looked up at her she was looking right at me in the eyes. im pretty sure my face blushed a bit. She just covered her face and laughed it off, the other two were really confused about what happened, but we changed the topic.

This happened TODAY (1-24-13), we still hugged to not seem awkward infront of the others. Her hug was tighter than our hugs before

When i see her what should i do? I think we'd probably still greet and hug, but then what if we remember what happened last time and ... Dx Or what about we feel extremely awkward to not even face each other in the eye again? How should i react? Should we talk about it (how?)? Should i tell someone else and ask them (that has no way of getting contact with her, goes to a different school; should i ask them?)

Since like a really soft blanket, or sweater/jacket, can feel really warm.

And one of my friends said that her jacket is really soft and it warm, while mine was really thin and cold. Could it be the layers that store in the cold keeping it from reaching our skin?

Like idk why but i like wearing a jacket in summer, not a thick one, but like a pretty thin one to keep the sun off my skin and stuff.

I've known her for months now. We're both in high school. We have one class together, also lunch (2 lunches in total at our school). We always hang out at lunch together. We wait for each other at this location in between our class number we have before lunch, recently i've been staying a bit later to finish up this other extra credit project is making her always having to wait for me; idk how long she has to wait (the most was 3min i think).

I always let her choose which line to stand in, because well i don't really eat during the day so i let her choose ^^

When we buy drinks from the vending machine we usually always share it. We don't even "waterfall" lol i was a bit uneasy when she didn't waterfall the first time, but now im pretty much use to it

I sometimes find myself just staring at her in that class we have together. She's facing away from me, so i usually just see her back or the side of her face. She sits next to this guy, and she talks to him a lot and i think i get a bit jealous.

A while ago we were alone, not technically but like no one we actually knew was around, she told me something. She said that i was her Best Friend. It really just touched me, i couldn't reply to it quick enough (because it just touched me so deeply) so she then included some other friends we both have a bit after. She says she trusts me. I guess she really does, since when we talked this one time after the conversation she just said "Don't tell anyone. I trust you to know." (i just thought deeply like "I only trust you to know this"). So of course i haven't told anyone, i would never plan on it.

When i see her from far away, i just like get lost in my mind but always on track with her where she is going. I just keep like staring at her (not in a creepy way), until i can no longer see her.

Every time i see her, or just hear her voice near by it just brightens my day. When im sad, and she comforts me the sadness goes away.

Last time i hugged her without even thinking about it (she could have been the wrong person lol), i just like extended and whispered her name then hugged her. She was facing sideways so it was an awkward hug i think lol. But right after that, i just began to turn red; when i got to class some people started to ask if i was having an allergic reaction. But i was happy

Every time i'm close to her, i just feel like getting closer. Like if she's sitting next to me, i feel like laying on her shoulder. Or when we're far i feel like running to her and just talk, though i really want to hug her ...

When she lays her head on my shoulder, i sometimes tense up; but then just let her lay there (even if she's pushing down on me). She's like the only person i've let look through my phone (im like very careful about social personal privacy)

When we talk about crushes, when i talk about it i just bring up an old (well im pretty sure those feelings for him are gone) crush i had in middle school.

when im next to her, i seomtimes feel like we're an OTP.

I feel like my smile is brightest when she makes me smile

we're both females, and i'm not very sure what to do. I am going to continue to be friends with her definitely.

P.S.

I kind of feel like she might know that i do have a crush on her, but i don't even know for sure if i do

because she asked me, "...What would you do if your best friend started to have feelings towards you?...But you didn't want them to, but remain friends..." When she said the first question my heart like stiffened a bit, but i answered it with "I would spit in his (assuming it was a guy she was speaking about) face. (she laughed). Or just do something really awkward (hmm); but then he might find it cute *smiles* (thats true! Dx)"

So what should i do? Do i really? Is it too suspicious and she might or does know? Should i ask for real physical advice from someone?(if so should i ask a close friend [but then she'll know about this] or someone i don't really know or idk...)

I was just wondering if Ramune （ラムネ） is healthy. Its carbonated soda drink, which came from Japan (日本).

My parents were fooled thinking it was alcohol, though i know its not alcoholic but it was a nice joke and all; since they never heard of Ramune until i bought one.

And the coffee question is just an extra, though it will be helpful to know if it was or not too.

Okay so my friend wants to come visit me in San Fransisco, and she lives in Phoenix Arizona. She wants to come over here by plane. Unfortunately she is an immigrant here. And i really want to see her so much!

She's in high school, freshman (14 years old). So she only has her school I.D. ; birth certificate; and school records (i think that's it). She's been in the U.S. for like almost 14 years.

Its a school trip for this club she's in, and they're coming here to San Fransisco, so there will be other people going as well.

She doesn't have a passport, but one of my teachers has said that you don't need a passport to travel within the US and a few Caribbean islands, just to travel out of the US and back (is that true).

And we're both kind of afraid of her getting deported. She has great school grades, all honors classes and exceeding grades.

So does anyone think that she'll be able to come? Or anything else recquired?

Im looking to read something that'll make me cry. I am sentimental, so it doesn't have to be intensely tragic, but on a basic level of tragic at least. Also make me smile, from the short (or more) comedy it has given. The length of the book/novel doesn't really have a limit in my question, just not over 700pages please ^^;

Okay, so i play clarinet Bb. I borrow one of my school's clarinet, since i don't have enough money to go out and buy one or rent one at the moment T^T.

I didn't have a reed, so i asked my director for one. I asked for a 3 reed or 2.5 reed. She gave me a 3.5 reed (⇀‸↼‶) which i have never tried playing before. And as she said it was going to be a bit difficult to play. It was ahem 'Is'.

And i am practicing right now, and its really annoying me （≧▼≦；) how i have to use so much of my air to get one note out. I just wanna know if i can loosen up the strength of the reed. I know i can do that by playing a lot, but that takes time.

So if anyone knows a way i can loosen it up, without using up a way i can loosen it up, without using up a lot of time，please tell me (シ_ _)シ

So a couple days ago i had this dream and i keep thinking about, it just pops in my head randomly and i don't know what it means :( tell me what you think please

Dream:

So we were in this school, it was a different school, but the people were the same (kind of like switched location or something). It was cloudy, and it looked kind of foggy, probably wasn't since this dream didn't have any color (is that normal?). There was this garden, and everyone gathered there, not "everyone" everyone. probably about 35~ people.

Then one of my friends gave me a tomato, i don't really like tomatoes. When i bit into it had this goo inside, then one of my other friends said,"what do you think of it?" i said," its sweet :) i like it"

Then all of a sudden we were like teleported to another location, it was in the back of the school. (i can't quite remember what happened there).

Then I walked back to the garden, mostly everyone was back. And then i was just staring at a sunflower or something. Then one of my friends said, "If you want to meet someone, why don't you meet me?" And she opened her arms for a hug. Then i woke up.

I don't understand why she said that, it keeps looping in my head "If you want to meet someone, why don't you meet me?"

I really like her, she's kind of like a special friend to me. She is like the only person i really love hugging, we're like perfect height and everything. So when i hug her, i don't want to let go. But she has a girlfriend, which is also one of my best friends. She doesn't get mad or anything :)

Then one day, when it was the second to last day of school, i saw her. And just hugged her, and cried in her arms. I couldn't stop crying, i didn't want the moment to end, just like i wanted that moment to be forever. I am older than her, one year, so she's an underclassmen.

She told us, that she was going to move to a different state, next school year. So she won't stay here. I didn't want her to go. I wanted to stay in contact with her. (oh my gosh im crying as i write this...).

Then the last day came, i wanted to spend every moment with her, but i couldn't actually tell her that. About 3 hours before school ended we went to our band room. We all gathered there and just spent those last few moments together, everyone woodwind and brass. We took photos together. I wanted to play a song with everyone again, but all the stands and music were stored away :(

Then when i saw her, i just couldn't stop crying. She hugged me.

Then that time we had was over. Once we went to our final class, nothing happened. During the last few minutes of school, we al (graduates) gathered in this area in the building on the second floor and told each other our farewells'. Everyone was crying, i couldn't stop crying. Then when i hugged this guy, i really like him though i didn't tell him my feelings for him. So that hug felt kind of special. My (underclassmen) friend class was leaving kind of early, so she saw me crying, and when i hugged that guy. She had this kind of shocked face, but it was also kind of happy. That was the last time i saw her.

I didn't get her email address, or phone number. So we didn't have any Contact at all.

During the summer, is when i started to think, "Do i really like her like that?" "Have i fallen in love with her" "what about that guy?"

Then that dream happened. "If you want to meet someone, why don't you meet me?"

What does this mean?

Names i remember from the story: Kazao, Yuu, Eika (might help)

Story:

There are a group of people that were experimented on when they were in their mothers stomach. They were like made into something like forced twins. They were imediately separated, one of them went to the city, and the other to an island called "Mirai Island" (Future Island). No one knows where this island is. Kazao and Eiko are close friends. No one on the island (except the founder idk) knows what is outside the island. Then one day Kazao is called out, and they tell him that he will be sent off into the city. "Everyone has to leave the island one day, some might be sooner than others." Kazao enters the city, completely lost, then he runs into Yuu. She shows him where his home is.

Next thing you kno that Kazao is going to Yuu's school. She becomes friends with him. (LATER) He then see's "Eika" when he went to a carnival with Yuu. He chases after her. (LATER) They [Kazao and "Eika"] meet, when Kazao goes to "Eika"'s school. They begin to talk. "Eika" is the same as Eika from the island. (LATER) They find out that they have been experimented on, and they will try to tell everyone at Mirai Island that they were too. Just they don't know who is the fake and who is the real person. (LATER) Yuu's father (forget his name) helps them get to the island (at first he was on a secret job to watch Kazao). Yuu's father betrays his agency to help Kazao and Eika. They reach the island. Unfortunelty they were caught. (SMALLER LATER) Eika gets to see "Eika." Eika was confused, and passed out; "Eika" was put in charge to take care of her. The person incharge of this experiment hesitates, but then allows the others (on the island) to know what they are. Kazao explains to them. Most freak out. (Later) Kazao gets to be on the island again with Eika, and Eika. Eika and Kazao begin to date (i think lol). END. (lol im not sure which Eika Kazao ended up with though OTL)

Hi, im planning on doing a project. Ive been planning it since over a year ago, and im going to soon be taking it into full account. Though i just need one thing... the sfx. The project you could say its like an animated movie for say. So i can't really record live sounds, since i cannot perform some of them.

Some examples of the top sfx i need:

walking (such as foot paces) (running, jogging)

school bell

gun shots (real guns, or laser sounding [either would work])

crickets

cicadas

rain (soft, and heavy pouring rain)

Thunder/lightning

Tower bell (like maybe one of those giant church bells sounding i.e.)

Door opening&closing

writing on chalkboard (like the sound it makes when one writes on the board) (light and slow & fast [such as angry like])

phone ringing (this one isn't really important but if available ^^)

car crash (not against another car, but sort of like a car screech)(trying to stop before it happens)

ambulance sound

Cat meowing

tree falling (i.e. when in 'timber' mode)(again not very important but if available)

Birds chirping

wow thats quite a list ^^;; i thought it'd be shorter orz well anyways.... if anyone knows a good place to find sound effects such as the ones listed (even if they're not on the same website im fine with that). Also if highly possible, free.

This project is very important to me and i need the sound effects to make it sound live-ish, i know i said it will be animated, but i want it to sound as if its live.
