Can I get a brain scan for depression?
I haven't been happy in 11 years since I was 16. I'm not sure if it's depression or not. I am healthy otherwise, I eat well and meditate etc but I am not the same person I was 11 years ago. I think there might be something wrong in my brain which prevents me from experiencing joy and I'm hoping a brain scan of some sort can determine this. If so, how do I even go about making an appointment for a brain scan? Thanks
3 AnswersMental Health4 years agoWhat is the most comfortable cat collar?
I want to get one for my cat George. He has never worn one before and he is about 10 years old so I want one that won't bother him. He plays outside a lot also so I don't want one that would get caught on things like trees etc.
Thanks
6 AnswersCats4 years agoHelp with multiple regression please?
I ran a multiple regression with 8 predictor variables. It was significant with a high adjusted r square value. However, only one of the 8 variables reached significance. Does this mean that the other variables are not doing anything. It's surprising because the adjusted r square is .66. Thanks
1 AnswerMathematics4 years agoWhy have volunteering company not got back to me?
So I met with the people who run the company and they insisted it was not an interview and they just wanted to meet me and it went great. They told me everything about the company (it's volunteering with disabled kids) and I was very interested in it. I passed the necessary checks and as far as I know my two references emailed them with a reference. I didn't hear back from the company for over a week so I emailed one of them and got no response. Two weeks later I emailed the guy and also got no response! WTF. Is it because I didn't email them sooner and they though I didn't show enough interest or something?

1 AnswerStandards & Testing5 years agoWhat are the chances of a universal basic income coming to the UK or Ireland?
It is being piloted in Holland where all citizens are going to be given £150 regardless if they are working or not. I think this would be the best thing ever because it means people will not have to work meaningless jobs as much so they would have more time to focus on what they love doing such as music or art! Not to mention it would help all the homeless people
2 AnswersOther - Society & Culture5 years agoWhat is the best book on studying and study skills?
I am a second year psychology student. I am doing okay, I am in the 2:2 or maybe even 2:1 bracket so far but I think I can do a lot better. Is there a book on effective study techniques anyone can recommend? There are quite a few out there and I am unsure what one to get or if they are even any good. Thanks
2 AnswersOther - Education5 years agoIs it okay to keep my cat locked in my garage at night?
It's for safety reasons of course. He has been in a few fights this last week and I took him to the vet today and the vet said he was bitten by another cat. So I want to keep him in my garage from about 22:30 until about 05:30. I can't keep him in the house because my other cat will go apeshit because she hates him, and she was here first. There's a sofa in the garage by the way. Thanks for any answers!
4 AnswersCats6 years agoHelp with my cat please?
Hello. I noticed a cut on my big cat George this morning. It is right underneath his ear. It isn't that big, I can barely see it but I noticed that his fur has what could be dried blood on it. Most worryingly though is that he is acting strange; he is hiding in places which he would not normally do and he seems frightened and nervous. I have another cat and they have never got on but he would never normally act this way. I know it wasn't the other cat that hit him because she was with me. I'm just concerned for him. Any advice please?
1 AnswerCats6 years agoCan you help me with my social psychology coursework please?
The question is “Critically evaluate how social psychology relates to the ‘European Migration Crisis’ of the summer 2015 using the two news articles provided.”
How do you critically evaluate in general? Should I be reading the news articles thoroughly and apply critical evaluation to them or should I be critically evaluating empirical studies which support the social psychology topics I am using, such as dehumanization.
Any answers greatly appreciated! Thanks

4 AnswersSoftware6 years agoHow often should I keep my cat outdoors in the winter in order for her to build up the strength to be comfortable in the cold?
I like having her in the house but I don't want to soften her too much as when I'm not here my mother doesn't have her in the house. So if I let her sleep in here at night for half the week and the other half have her sleep outside at night is that a good idea? I have a little hut for her to sleep in outside as well. Any answers greatly appreciated, thanks
6 AnswersCats6 years agoDoes anyone else get cold calls from Sky offering them a 'special offer' on breakdown cover for their sky box?
I received a cold call from 'Sky' informing me that the breakdown cover on my sky box had broken down and they had a special offer they could give me of £99.00 for one year insurance. They used every trick in the book to try and persuade me to buy it. It made me so angry! They are obviously roping vulnerable people in with these calls and getting them to pay for something they don't need. I don't know how they sleep at night. Can I report these scumbags somehow?
2 AnswersSecurity6 years agoDo I have any no claims bonus?
I have been a named driver under my fathers policy for three years and in the last two years I have been the named driver under my brothers policy. No one has been in an accident or claimed during this time and both my father and brother have years of no claims bonus. Where do I stand? Do I have any no claims bonus myself? Any answers are greatly appreciated!
