I got hung up on by a microsoft employee just now. I purchased an in game add on through Xbox, payment went through and never received item. Called support and they refused to refund the item I never received. He said they have a strict "no refund" policy. They just take your money and fyou. Stay away from these punks, I'm switching back to PlayStation. PS, my Microsoft phone is crap too. Save yourself the thefts and headaches.

The NC gov website says I need to verify my address to change my status, but it does not say how. Is there a website where I can do this or does it absolutely have to be done by mail?

Allot of the time, I come here asking quistions to gain an understanding. The majority of the answers I get back are really rude, offering me no real education. I get allot of people calling me names just for asking question. They do more to discourage me or shut me down than anything. Am I the only one this is happening to? It happens allot. Why does asking questions bring on so much hostility? They are not loaded questions, im only trying to learn. I feel like this has become a nation of bullies.

There is a big difference between the price of the 2 scopes. But I dont mind spending the extra money if the optic is a better match for my rifle. Here is a little info on my rifle and the two scopes. Rifle Daniel Defense .308 AR10 medium weight 18" barrel. First scope US Optic 1-6x hybrid reddot/mil dot $1,200. Second scope US Optics 1-8x hybrid redot/mildot $2,200.

I am primarily wondering if this rifle is capable of accurately utilizing the 8x to 800meters. If the rifle is not capable of fully utilizing the 8x then I will probably save money with the 6x version.

I am not interested in any other scopes unless they meet this criteria. Reticle must match turrets mil/mil or moa/moa. Must have a lower magnification of 1x with an illuminated red dot or similar for fast close target acquisition. Must have an upper magnification of at least 6x or higher. Must be first focal plane only. Must be able to withstand the repetitive violent foreword bolt impulse of an AR10 and be durable. Must cost under $2,500. Must not be overly massive or have an unnecessarily high magnification. Must be worthy of my Daniel Defense rifle. The only scopes I have found to meet these criteria so far are SWFA HD and US Optic.

My goal is to reliably hit a 12" steel gong at 600-800meters. Yes I have regular access to a 1000meter range. I don't believe in buying twice ie/ upgrading later. I prefer to buy the correct optic for the rifle the first time and be done with it.

Im about to purchase a scope, but people keep telling me that 6x is not enough for 700m. I find this hard to believe seing that marines shoot 600m with open irons. I really want the 1x on my scope, that's why I'm choosing the lower power range. I live in NC so, I dont see any real world cenerio where shooting past 700meters is probable. I feel a low power scope would suit me better and it shaves weight off the rifle as well. Is 700m with a 6x really that difficult? I just want to hit anywhere on a 12" steel gong.

I am starting my first foray into long range shooting and I need help choosing a mount. My specific question is, do I need a standard mount or a 20moa canted mount? Here is a list of what im using and trying to accomplish. I want to shoot out to but not beyond 700meters. I have a Daniel Defense Ambush .308 semi auto with a floating 18" medium weighted barrel. I want to get a SWFA HD 1-6x first focal plane Scope, mil retical-mil turrets, capable of 35mils TOTAL elevation adjustment. I do not plan on shooting past 700 meters with this rifle, but would like to go atleast that far. Do I need a standard lvl mount for this setup, or should I get the 20 moa canted mount? I plan on getting a one piece QD mount for easy removal access to back up irons. The only two options for this type of mount are in lvl and 20moa. Which mount should I get?

I tried to warn people and it always falls on deaf ears. No one seriously considers this. This ignorance is what caused it. I thought once you were put on PTDRL that it was a sure thing for life? However, I also thought my VA disability was too. I just got a letter that the VA is reevaluating my claim and found out that VA disability can be lowered at any time. I guess now I need to find out about my Air force disability compensation. Is the Military compensation also unstable like the VA comp, or is it a sure thing? I thought I understood all this, I guess I was wrong.

The way its currently done, is my Air Force amount is higher than the VA disability amount. The VA pays its portion and the Air Force pays the remainder. So my total AF amount is roughly $1,500 per month, but its split up in payment. The VA pays me roughly $1,000 of it and the Air Force pays me the $500 remainder since they don't pay out twice. The VA is currently trying to lower my disability rating. If its lowered will the Air Force just make up for the loss, or will I see a total reduction in monthly payment? Or will my amount received always remain the higher Air force amount regardless? I hope this is not confusing, but the VA prefers to keep things confusing.

I don't know where this is coming from, I don't feel its a moral decision. It reminds me of pregnant women who say they suddenly feel ill at the sight or smell of certain food. I am a guy, but its this similar feeling, that suddenly came over me and has been persistent for months. Does this happen to allot of people who go vegan, or is it a sign of health issues?

Think about it, Republicans take office, then its "terrorist attacks" by bomb. Democrats take office, then its "mass shootings". The law of cause and effect is backwards here. I honestly believe our own government is murdering most of these people just to push their agenda. 9/11, Columbine, WOMD, FEMA Camps, and their stories never add up.
