My family and want to get a dog. The problem is, we have had our cat for about 8 years. What breed of LARGE dogs (not little, annoying, purse dogs) are known to live well with cats? If it helps, we are definitely leaning towards puppies, so maybe it can grow to like our cat?

My friends and I want to plan a short trip to Canada, and want to spend as little money and time for travel. Any ideas?

I have been looking to upgrade my macbook memory and I found a good deal. I was wondering if this kind of memory worked well on macs? It meets all the requirements, so I don't see why it wouldn't work but I just want to be sure:

I've heard that the reason starving yourself doesnt work on a diet is because your metabolism slows. But if you only eat foods with no calories, which has the same effect of eating nothing but you actually get the satisfaction of eating, will your metabolism still slow down?
