What are some tools I can use to create highlights in drawings?

For example, I bought a white gel pen, but it didn't seem to work very well. I now use acrylic paint, but it seems like such a hassle to take out a paintbrush, squeeze out the paint onto a palette, and clean it all at the end. So what other items can I use? I have heard of using white charcoal and white pastel, but...

Does white charcoal work over graphite pencil? I have black charcoal, and it won't work over graphite.

Can white pastel and charcoal blend with the graphite?

What is a website where I can draw with my friend, live?

We are co-drawing pictures, but we don't want to draw where others could interrupt/destroy it. I have tried doodletoo, flockdraw, sketchfu, scribble, doodlewall, webcanvas, drawhere, and queeky...

Don't answer with those. I once found a website that I liked but it was either deleted or just really hard to find. It start with colorsomething.com....? colorio, coloridoo... i dont know but it started with color, that's all I know. Please answer! And not with the links I listed above!

I have three different kinds of paints:

Acrylic

Watercolor

and Oil

But I have only a limited amount of paintbrushes. Am I allowed to use the same brushes with the same paints? If I can, what do I have to do to keep my brushes healthy? Thanks:)

I need to write a Time Travel Narrative about Egypt for school. If there is any grammar errors, please point them out and give me advice for things, too. Thanks! Here's my Narrative (Oh btw, indent doesn't show on Yahoo Answers, so don't correct me for indent, just everything else. Thanks!):

My name is Jennifer, and I had been staring at a blank Word Document since morning. My room was growing darker and darker, and time was going by quickly. I looked at the clock. It was past ten o’ clock PM already and yet, my Egyptian report was still going nowhere. Everything I saw distracted me from working.

Suddenly, a mail notification pops up at the corner of my computer screen. I had a huge urge to check what it was, but I tried hard to resist. I knew that more time procrastinating, meant less time on my report that was due the next day.

Unfortunately, I gave in and opened up an internet browser to check my e-mail. To my disappointment, it was just some chain mail sent to scare me about how I should be careful when I go to sleep. Apparently, unless I forwarded the e-mail to ten other people, I was cursed. I could not believe the people who fell for it.

I went back to my document and continued thinking. Egypt…Egypt…Egypt… Eventually, my eyes became heavy, and my chair became incredibly comfortable. I then dozed off in front of my computer screen with Egypt still on my mind…

In the morning, I woke up with a start, remembering that my Egyptian report was due. I was in a mini panic, until I realized that I was not in my chair – or my room – or my house. I was on the floor of a small, abandoned, mud/brick house with a flat roof. There was not much furniture in the house. There were no chairs anywhere except for a small earthenware bench next to a wooden chest holding various possessions.

When I walked outside, I felt rich, soft soil beneath my feet. In the distance, I saw a big river flowing. Every direction was a beautiful sight. Crops grew high in the nearby houses.

It took me a minute to realize that what I was looking at was Egypt. How could I be in Egypt, though? Was I dreaming? If I was dreaming, I might as well explore, right? I then decided that I would go sightseeing around Egypt.

I did not walk far before I saw a horrible sight. Men and women, both old and young carried piles of materials such as limestone and granite on their backs. Other men pounded stone together in groups. It looked like people were being forced to build pyramids, just like how my school textbook said.

A tall man who looked like high authority walked up to me. He yelled at me in a strange language and handed me a copper chisel and hammer before pushing me into the swarm of people working. Great. Now I was one of the forced workers. For a split second, I thought of the chain mail that I received just last night, but I pushed to the back of my mind.

I decided to work by copying everyone else around me and wait for myself to wake up from my dream – or was it a dream? After a while, my arms and shoulders grew sore from pounding, carrying, and more. Would I ever wake up, or was I stuck in this dream forever? Time went by very slowly. A few hours felt like days, working on the pyramids. Beads of sweat ran down my forehead. The hot sun’s rays glared down at me. Dirt covered my entire body. Some parts of my clothes were being ripped, and my stomach was beginning to growl from hunger.

Eventually, I thought that I would never stop working. After all, I was a slave, forced to build pyramids for hours. However, I was wrong. The group of people around me stopped working and walked somewhere. Unsure of what to do, I followed them.

They led me to a shelter where bread, dried fish, beer, and fresh clothes were given to us by what seemed to be the pharaoh’s supervisors. This surprised me. Slaves in Egypt were not whipped and forced to work 24/7? Were pyramid workers even slaves? I sat down on the floor with a thud and ate the devoured the food. As I was filling my stomach, I became drowsy…

I woke up on my desk, right where I had been earlier. The room was still dark, and my clock said that only 10 minutes had past. I was somewhat disappointed because the trip to Egypt was just a dream after all. Although, there was something my hand was gripping very tightly. I was holding a copper chisel. Was it a dream, or not? Either way, now I knew exactly what to write on my Egyptian report.

So I want to learn who is who in the kpop girl group SNSD (Girls' Generation) and most people told me to watch their reality shows (hello baby, Girls Go To School, Right Now It's Girls' Generation, etc). What is the best show to watch that would help me learn who is who? Thanks:)

So my iPod has 300 songs and my iTunes has 100 songs. If I sync/update my iPod, will my 300 songs go away? Will i be left with the 100 songs that are on my iTunes? How do I fix this?

So, I want to make an animation, and it seems like adobe flash is the easiest. I don't want to pay, so is there any other animation program available? And I don't want an animation program that you have to redraw frame by frame. I have already tried Victorian Giotto. Please help!

I play volleyball. I have a disadvantage because I am small, but it's fun, and although I'm a beginner, I want to get better. Whenever I serve, my coach says I'm doing everything right, but I'm not powerful enough. What are some exercises I can do to strengthen my arm enough to serve over the net and far enough?

My sister told me to punch something over and over again, but that's out, because I do not want something like that. She then told me to just keep practicing serving. Yes, I will practice serving over and over, but I want an exercise to do, too.
