Hello and welcome to the first edition, of Wrestling Today with Poppa Doc. I'm Poppa Doc, you may also know me as Mr. Anderson(2011), American Dragon or Da Realzist. Now I'm first going to start with the news about former WWE Superstar John Morrison talking about his time away from WWE in an interview with "Big Smoothie"of 95X FM radio station. Morrison talks about enjoying time with family and friends, surfing more often, and how being away from WWE gives him the opportunity to do other things that he couldn't do while in WWE. Now in other news WWE Superstar Hunico turns 35 today, happy birthday to him. I actually never would have guessed that he was that old. But he's very good in the ring at his age. in wrestling years 30 is old, very old. Guys consider retiring at that age, but anyway also MTV's Pauly D will be hosting the WWE kick off VIP party. It will be on August 16 at The Beverley Hills Hotel. I'm not sure which celebs will be there though but I'm sure everything will be under control and no sh*t is gonna go down with "meatballs" and "juice heads."

We have seen this on many occasions such as when Jack Swagger won the World Heavyweight Championship after winning the Money In The Bank and the all of a sudden he gets de-pushed. He wasn't even made to look strong as champion. His reign wasn't good to start out with. Then we go to Sheamus, he had two WWE Championship runs and then he loses the title and he his de-pushed. After about two years he wins the US title and he loses it to Santino of all people. And then we have The Miz. He main events Mania and wins WWE gold and then is de-pushed. By jobbing to Cena and Punk. He and Truth had a good storyline going on in the beginning, but then they feud and they are both being pushed down to the bottom of the barrel. I just have to ask, what is with this cycle of former champs being de-pushed in a blink of an eye?

BQ: Will the same thing happen with Daniel Bryan?

I don't. I know a few girls that know more about wrestling than I do. BUT, many do not know much about wrestling. I come across some women and they don't even know what they are talking about. I don't want to start a sexes war but do you believe in this stereo-type?

Is it because it doesn't have celebrities on their shows every week.

Is it because they don't have 10,000,000 facebook fans worldwide.

Just because The Indy Promotions are not sucking up to media, doesn't mean that the only attention they get has to be from the IWC. Indy Promotions deserve better, agreed?

They say he sold out and left WWE for hollywood, why do they disrespect him so much. Its a shame, that they still haven't let that go. They should be talking about the things that The Rock did for the wrestling business before he left. And so what he left. He is not married to WWE. He can go anywhere he pleases. Did you want him to leave wrestling and go sit on his @ss at home all day? If you want to talk about leaving WWE for something else lets talk about Trish Stratus leaving WWE for yoga. Lets talk about Chyna leaving WWE for porn, lets talk about Abdulla The Butcher leaving wrestling to open up a restaurant. These people can do what ever the hell they want to. They don't have to live for you guys, they live their own lives for their own selves. the Rock's contract was up, he decided not to stay and he left. That was his rightful choice. He wanted to do that. he wanted to try something new. He didn't want to wrestle for the rest of his life. He electrified you people, he put on amazing matches,and he cut promos that not even Stone Cold could touch. If Shawn Michaels left WWE for movies or something you guys wouldn't care. You know why, because you are hypocrites. The Rock had so much success in WWE. And now he has success in movies. You guys shouldn't disrespect him for that. He didn't sell out, he just wanted to do something outside of wrestling. He wanted to try something new. He did a lot for you guys and yet you diss him. Along with those idiots complaining about how The Rock is main eventing Mania, and they are not. Well tough. The Rock can sell out an arena of 100,000 people and you can't. That is the way it goes. WWE is going to hit big, just cause The Rock is there. And weather you want to believe it or not, CM Punk was probably one of the ones complaining. Don't get me wrong, Punk can wrestle and he's good on the mic, but he doesn't stand a chance at The Rock. The Rock can put @sses in seats and draw a crowd like nobody's business. CM Punk helps WWE lose ratings.
