I just finished reading the book "Is Paris Burning?". It mentions the aliies eating both. What are they? Why the different designation?

After about 7 years of no TV in the house, I just bought a Vizio HDTV. I have an antenna on my roof and get about 16 channels. What do I need to record shows for watching later. What is a DVR? Is Tivo a DVR? What if I want to record something onto a DVD? I can record stuff off the air right? Or do I need a cable/satelite service?

I want to put insulation underneath the floor above a vented crawl space. How do I keep the insulation from falling down?

I don't have a manual for the case, on the motherboard are the letters ATXPW...(the PW part is confusing me)....is this an ATX case or not ? Its an old HP....Also I have another OLDER computer (bought new in 97)...no identifying remarks.

Rather than buy cards for a new camera, I'd like to buy a new camera for cards I already have. I have 1 SD card of 32 mb, several 256mb size and a few 1GB size. I'd rather not buy more stuff if I don't have to. I'd like to find a model that uses those sizes as well as larger capacity cards that I can buy later.

I typed it using WORD 2007 but it wont upload. I get a message from Monster saying " you are trying to upload and x-compressed- file"......the file extension is .docx....do I need to fix that to .doc? and if so, how?

Here in the USA, I've been watching a teevee show on the BBC America channel called '' You are what you eat''. Its a show where a woman cajoles and berates an obese person to change their ways before its too late. Its real good stuff. I was able to look up what a stone is equal to, (14 pounds), but in a few episodes the offending over-eater is put on a diet of '' fruits, vegetables and pulses ''......Can someone tell me, what are pulses?

that also has warm weather? I live in a cold city (tonights low will be 22,tomorrows high is forecast to be 47). I retired a couple months ago and can now move wherever I want. There are many factors which will help me decide where to live/work next. I do drive but would like to make driving an exception rather than a daily activity. Whats your opinion?

Is a citizenship waiver common? How often does it happen? As an American would I have difficulty joining the Canadian Forces? I'm working on a permanent residence card whether or not the military is open to me and would have no trouble passing the physical fitness test for my age.

I looked at the website, It says that I'd first have to have a permanent resident card,which I'm working on now whether or not the military would be open to me, and be granted a "citizenship waiver" by the CFRG(Canadian Forces Recruiting Group). But I wonder how likely receiving the waiver could be, and does it happen often? I noticed that recruitment age is up to 55 for Canadian Military, and I can easily pass the physical fitness test for my age (45). I have alot of electronics experience and the army has a job (LCIS Tech) that seems perfect for me.

At work, you have to drop a quarter in the jar everytime you swear (it goes to charity) and I'm going broke, although half the time I'm provoked. I'm looking for some substitutes that might help me. i.e. instead of "dammit", i can say "darn it"..or instead of "Sh*t", I sometimes am able to slow it down and turn it into "shishkebab".....or instead of F*ck you, you F*cking F*ck !...I sometimes say "I don't agree with your premise". Thats the type of suggestions I'm looking for.

By Bill Maher? I found it very good and although written by a comedian/satirist, found it very practical also. I just re-read it, and unfortunately alot of it still rings true. I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on the book.
